Ultroner Alieno lite -70w
I had for the most part stopped writing reviews. About a month back ultroner reached out and asked me to give this a look. I’m glad I did; yes, I was a bit confused on the whole two fire button thing. However; I’ve come to kinda dig it. The mods fit and finish is great, it fires responsively, and performs tc well.
On to the specs:
30mm(depth)x 39mm(wide) x 88mm(height)
85 grams in weight
18650 battery
1w-70w
Input voltage 3.2v-4.2v
Input current 0.5A-30A
Chipset sevo-70
Firing modes:
Full power
Temperature control
Mechanical
Power curve
Double fire button
Max atty diameter -24mm
As an added note the silver battery tube can unscrew and be replaced with other tubes to change the look of the device.
Now that the technical specs are out of the way, what did I think?
I really like it, it’s small and fits nicely in the hand. Since it maxes out on a 24mm atomizer I’ve been using a shogun and a citadel both with beauty rings on them. Using a single coil with a 40w output, I am getting all day battery life. The build quality really does feel like something much higher end than it’s asking price. Rumor has it that a dna 60 version is in the works. If so, I will be buying one on release day. The battery cap has an inset adjustment screw to eliminate rattle. The cap also unscrews, a feature I know many people don’t like, but in an effort to keep this form factor, the options are limited, and it works well here.
The up and down buttons on the bottom are nicely done. The buttons themselves remind me of the old Hana dna days, and the placement reminds me of my old faithful vaporshark. I like that they are mounted out of the way and inset to avoid accidental adjustments. On the topic of accident, I was afraid the dual fire buttons would lead to accidental firing. I did not experience that at all.
I can’t speak much to the chipset on quality, as I don’t have any experience with this board before now. What I can say is that when vaped with the same build on the same atty side by side to a dna board, the vape is very similar. The similarity is close enough for me to say that it feels to be a highly accurate board.
Operating the board
Click fire button 5 times - on/off
Click fire button 3 times- switch between modes and select changes
Hold down up and fire- rotate screen
Plus and minus together- locks device
So what’s not to like about it?
A few things, it’s limited to what it can run. I love my gt4; but, the gt4 is a 25mm atty that just won’t fit on here.
The menu system is a bit confusing, but nothing that can’t be learned by the most basic of brains, like my own.
The two buttons. Not an issue really just confusing.
What would I change if I could?
I would take this exact shape, expand it a few mm and make it work for a 21700 and fit a 26mm atty, then make it one detonator style button. That would be an ideal mod in my mind.
What do you like about it?
Quite a few things. The size, form factor, ergonomics, the way it vapes, and the fact that it’s little hump sort of hugs the atty to make it look one piece.
Would I buy it?
Yes, yes indeed I would. The clear one has become a regular part of my rotation.
how much is it?
My friend the google found it between 50-60 usd
