Christoph Waltz may star in Alita: Battle Angel, as the Oscar-winning actor is currently in talks to join the highly anticipated manga-inspired film adaptation from producer James Cameron.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Waltz (Django Unchained, SPECTRE) is in "early negotiations" to star as the cybersurgeon Doctor Dyson Ido, who becomes the mentor of a female cyborg.
