Well strictly mathematically, 1500 hits daily is roughly one tenth of one percent of the daily traffic to the forum. So quantitatively speaking, yes a blip. For those who enjoy spending time in this thread, it's certainly got value beyond the numbers however. The comment wasn't personal, @kelli, and you shouldn't read it as such. It was a response to the charge that we cultivate drama to boost hits. That is utterly false. We don't need to, and ain't nobody got time fo' dat.

@TygerTyger , you said earlier that the incident between Kelli and Jeremy was "handled."

A private apology that only the directly affected parties knew about would have made this thing go away a lot more quickly, wouldn't it?

The fact that it's still being discussed means that such an apology hasn't yet occurred, which in itself is somewhat mind-boggling.

Didnt say 'cultivate'. I said Joe doesnt care as it increases the traffic, however small. There are about a dozen posts with him saying just that.

The only reason this is generating mod attention is 'cause who was involved and what being said.

i knew it upset one person (boy howdy!), i pretty much figured the rest of you knew it was a typical sarcastic joke of mine. obviously i was mistaken. i humbly apologize for any hurt feelings realized by anyone involved. but i still don't think it warranted the vicious attack. but that's just my opinion. others don't agree. anyway, i am very sorry to all the mods who were offended. you know i love you guys.
