Actually, there is NOTHING on TV tonight for me.

But I can tinker with things and take pics of Tiki. :D

A Holiday-themed joose, perhaps?
(it's my one attempt at a colored juice: Absinthe-ish)

Sleepy purdy cat - in crappy lighting..

I had to Photoshop the hell out of those.
This Panasonic DMC-FH1 is a nice camera, but sucks balls at white balance in dim lighting.

Ok...day #2. A correctly wicked Squape R is a joyous thing.

Sweet! I've always wanted a Squape, but they have mostly sucked in QC, AFAIK.
I had high hopes for the Reloaded, but most of the clones ain't that much better. Which one is good now?

I will have to find out from Mike at 510 Vapers who manufactured this one. As for build...pretty straightforward and visually self explanatory. I personally find the wide build deck to be useful. The secret to success is to wick it with a FAT cotton wick...the fluffier the ends the better. The wick should extend to the ends of the top channel and NOT over the edge into the juice channels. The Coil and wick will sit IN the top channel. Beyond that, you will need either needle bottles or a 20g or smaller needle/syringe to fill it.

The wide deck will accomodate up to a 3mm ID coil built with 24g wire.

Sounds similar to a Erlk build? Those seems to like skinny channel wicking with fluffy 'shoulders' next to the coil and a lot of cotton.

Hmm, I have 18, 16 and 14 gauge Luer-lock tips, but if it isn't too deep, I have an old CE2 syringe that is reallly fine. But, that needle is only about an inch or so long.

Tht i
I primary use Japanese cotton now so should be OK?
Any wicking that is fat enough to completely fill the top channel will work. If the wick does not completely fill the top channel, juice will bypass the wick and flow into the air flow hole under the coil.

@CaFF and @Thomas , one thing you will need to know is.....it comes with the narrow deck installed. To remove it, you remove the pos and neg screws and PULL!!!! When I say PULL!!! I mean you probably will need pliers. After that is is easier. When you install a deck, PUSH!!!! to make sure it is fully seated.

I would suggest going to images.google.com and do searches for "dual coil build," etc. so you can sort of see and hopefully understand what is being described. Pics often do help.

Without holding one in hand, or building it....I would be inclined to think that the Kayfun V4 is a copycat of the Squape R design...at least in philosophy.

Interesting.....I use the taifun gt and pulling both - an + freaks me out, the middle part of that deck screws up on that tank when you remove both same time :)
I am sure it's good tip and I may have to bug you later on that lol

The sleeves that both screws screw into extend through the removable build deck. That and the ceramic coating on the entire build deck is what insulates everything from the rest of the atty.

Oh, to finish answering a question....yes indeed, it is heavier than the Kayfun and Orchid.

That's what has worried me about some of the clones...the ceramic deck coating is just a sort of paint on some.

The very first Squape clone was exactly that...scratched off easily and led to battery venting shorts. This is much more durable...I scratch tested on one of the decks I knew I would NEVER use (the curved one).
