Decided to go with the lyric video since I think it helps bring some things out that may be missed in the official vid

I really don't run that much at once if I'm honest. I am running Yosemite.
My daughter switched majors to elementary education and special needs. The department requires the kids have Macs so she got a new MacBook Air for Christmas thanks to Black Friday :)

Oddly enough it did not come with Yosemite preloaded so I had to upgrade it and then wipe the hard drive and install it from scratch so that it was a clean fresh install vs and upgraded install.

I have not done the same to mine yet just because moving my iPhoto library is going to be a pain because it's over 30gb. Fortuantely all my other data is in Dropbox so that isn't a problem.

If I had the money I would have gone to 16gb. Like you I saw a lot of reports of it working fine even on my Late 2011 model.

The 8gb works fine, but still slows down a bit when I have a couple of spreadsheets open in Open Office, a dozen tabs in Chrome, another tab or two in FireFox because of compatibility issues with Chrome, about 8 or so text docs, couple of Adobe files and frequent Microsoft Remote Desktop.

That is a typical load for me :)

They all come with Lion or Mavericks from the factory. To me, the gains from that $150.00 investment are SO worth it. I have a well kitted out Windows desktop, and this lappy SMOKES it. Not unhappy with the i5 processor at all.

seems like a 0.2 build on my Orchid makes my battery get hot :(
Older batts though.
Can't tell if it just cause the atty is getting so hot and heating up he whole mod or if maybe I'm pushing my old Sony too hard.

Stage two of the detox, eat a big bowl of extra-spicey Thai soup and sweat the toxins out of every pore.

It dawned on me today that I need new calendars. Usually I get nature or art or muscle cars. To change it up, I just ordered the Charleston Firefighters with the C-town no-kill shelter pets calendar. :)
