Lol, I liked the idea of letting the kangaroo do the work for me better, I can't tell if that guy is falling or break dancing.
Think he's trying to break dance on ice. Either way looks like he's having fun.
And the roo I wonder if I could rent him for the day and send him in my place for work just one day.

i guarantee you that first cat, upon landing at the bottom of the stairs, looked around and nonchalantly strode away as if to say "i totally meant to do that".

So, I caught Uncle and did the Whirled Tour of Winco for my foods and Petco for Tiki foods. Got supplies in before we get 5-7" of snow, then likely ice rain in the next few days. And, didn't have to walk in the snow carrying crap. Yay!

Saved nearly $10 on my Petco bill too between sale prices, $5 off bagged dry food coupons and a 10% off everything coupon. Came to $28 for a month's worth of good food and a plastic lid for her cat food tins. :D

Came home, fed her some Venison cat food for a change of pace (she demolished it), then made this for meeeee.....

Ate half now, saving half later for Football.

(clicky thumbs)

Ingredients:
Beef bologna, pepper jack cheese, smoked deli turkey, Roma tomato bits, a wee bit of sauerkraut, green olives, lettuce, mayo, sambal olek and stone ground mustard.

The dribbled-looking bit is some EVOO drizzled on with garlic pepper salt and dill. Yup, I V-cut the hoagie roll Subway style 'cuz I used to work at one many moons ago. It's effective. ;)

That's not a sandwich, that's a small planet.

LOL!

Well, almost..
I'm not eating it all at once though...make once, eat twice. ;)

For scale, the blade on my Mora 510 that I use for a petty knife is 3 ¾” long. So, it's not THAT huge really. Nothing beats a nice sub sammie once in awhile. =)

Why is it when you call the cable company they take you thru the automated portion first teasing you. Knowing full well that you need to speak with a rep. Then it's 15 min of the same tune.

Ok, first wicking with the Japanese Cotton.
Not sure which type exactly..I'm sure he mentioned it but I forgot.

Stuff is friggin' excellent!

Looked through the atties and decided to try a single-coil dripper as just easier to deal with. Also, didn't want to tear anything apart at 2AM. ;)

Used my ancient IGO-L, the good 'ol reliable tester. Old-School build in here.

  • Wicks pretty damn quickly
  • Having the fibers aligned makes cutting and shaping a breeze
  • Holds a lot more than the plain cotton pads, not sure why?
  • Absolutely no aftertaste, really no taste at all...no gumminess either.
  • I used my bog standard Hangsen RY4 as I know it's taste well.
Tried some of my DIY Peach-Apple Pie juice...wow...I can taste every flavor in there...amazing.
This is fun stuff. Now, I wanna re-wick All The Things...:D

Super Thanks to @Midniteoyl for the generosity and letting me experience this stuff.
Ya, this stuff has NO taste.. None. I love it :) Glad you are liking it too. Did you remove both outside layers? Looks like you did.. I like to leave them on in drippers and remove one for RTAs..

This is the cotton: www.amazon.com/Cotton-Labo-ORGANIC-Puff-200pc/dp/B000TCD51A/ref=pd_bia_nav_t_3?ie=UTF8&refRID=0F8Q0NA7E332BA3QYXM0

Hey everyone! Been kinda bizzy. Hope to see ya later:)

"Eiji Yoshikawa (1892-1962), the renowned Japanese author of many epic historic novels, asserted, "Great character is forged through hardships." Surviving a life of hardships and difficulties, of stormy ups and downs, is what produces a person of great depth and character. True happiness is also found in such an unshakable state of life."
