Ya.. got an electric blanket and a heated lap blanket for her.. It just seems cooold with the floors so cold Thanks@Midniteoyl a great thing to have is a heated throw. you can wrap up in it and stay nice and toasty even when the house is chilly. i practically live in mine.
And a replicater so I dont have to cook and all cake is low cal and 'good for you'lol i wish i had one of those transporter thingies like on star trek.
Sounds like funI keep threatening the bungee cords on the ceiling, apple in his mouth, and promise to come by and tickle him every now and then

I'm sorry.. I posted that they finally approved my claim last night. I was just venting that it took 2 months, 2 denials, and them finally sending out a claims adjuster after making me do the work of one first.. and they did know the wife was doing chemoWhere are you at with this now? I asked my friend who is a claims adjuster: To speed up the process call the insurance company and explain that your wife has cancer which is a disability and warrants priority service. Provisions are made for the disabled. If no response, call the mayor's hotline (city officials) and explain the same. Hope this helps.
Hopefully it's just weather related and she can come home soon.I'm sorry.. I posted that they finally approved my claim last night. BTW, she is now sick, and they say it isnt an ear infection and the oncologist cant figure it out.. They gave here IV fluids and electrolytes and are sending her to the ER. She lost 8lbs in the last 6 days
This was why I was pissed ...
Appreciate the effort on you part, however.. Love you all Thanks

Well! Things are looking up for yaStarting to wonder which universe some of us are in... daughter called yesterday because her car remote battery died and she couldn't get the emergency key out of the slot it goes in. Have to drive up to her school to get it sorted out, but hoping a simple pair of pliers will do the trick and it's nothing worse than a trip up to see how her first week at the new school went and then take her out to get a bite to eat.
That's on top of the 3k bill to fix my wife's car. Fortunately an extended warranty is covering 1k, but will have to prioritize the rest and get things taken care of after taxes, which we will finally see a return from now that we have enough medical bills to finally push past the increased write off limit and get a some of it back.
Fortunately, the son's GI system has been stable all week, just hoping that now he is filling his gut back up that he doesn't get backed up again...
Added bonus is that his medicaid is finally starting to work and looks like some therapies will be starting up in the near future. Just talked to the people who use music as the cornerstone of their therapy and if everything goes as expected he should be starting up in a couple of weeks
Really happy for @Midniteoyl that it the temps are going to pick back up for the next couple of days. Hopefully the furnace will be fixed before the next big plunge!
That, would be a butt warmerLOLZ..this is funny.
So, I searched for "butt warmers" for @Whiskey .

Fake Silicone, You know That's not good.Well, they used more baggies...lol
Seems they wrapped the tank with more of that foam strip stuff...still had the chimney loose with the tank though...smh.
WHY CANT THEY BAGGIE THE CHIMNEY?
After last time, they said they would talk to packaging dept ...yeah...I'm sure they care lots.
But, all came in ok. One of the shitty red o-rings was somehow stuck to the tank...hopefully a soak'll fix that.
