Oh, in case anyone thinks I'd forgotten How To Breakfast....
A couple of eggs over medium on a bagel, with colby-jack cheese, sauteed mushrooms, jalapeno, garlic and onions. Lots of black pepper was used along with a pinch of sea salt.
Bagel was spread with sour cream and Dijon mustard, Garnished the lot with a bit of dry Dill.

I'm way, WAY too young to be sidelined by something like this. I wish the surgeons would get me scheduled for for the hip replacement but I keep getting pushed back because they are giving preference to people on disability.
I'm not.
I have responsibilities and can't be off work for six months to qualify for disability, so I have to work through the weakness and the pain.
Doesn't make much sense to me...

And to think, I was gonna pay like $50 for silly 'blackout' curtains.
Just to keep the light and heat/cold out depending on the season....bah!
That one room eats most of the energy for the entire Apt.
A friggin' huge room with two huge windows...and just plastic mini-blinds to 'cover' them.
If I want to let light in, or to let Tiki sit on the sill and window-stalk the birdies, I'll just pin up the bottom couple of feet worth. =)

- One self-anchoring screw to fix the previous crappy job on one of the curtain hooks = $0.50
- A couple feet of butcher's string to tie-up the blankets = already had lying around

Oh, BTW, some previous person tore out the hardware for hanging curtains and just painted over the patched holes.
It's a late 60s - early 70's era rental in a shitty neighborhood for $450/mo. Why bother?
I also have it in my lease that I can't use anything larger than a brad on the walls...
It's an off-site management company, not a landlord situation. They only care for getting paid rent and preserving their investment for their clients. The last time I had their 'handyman' fix something, he installed a cartridge in the kitchen faucet backwards.
I don't have visitors anyways..nobody will care. There is no decor involved. ;-)

Hell ya it is! You know, I was perfectly fine with just replacing the furnace a a few feet of damaged venting with whatever is the equivalent to a 92% Goodman now-a-days.. ~$2200 total... But after all this bullshit, I turned in the HVAC quote for a full redo - 98% furnace, new trunks, new feeds, add a couple of vent and returns, 5" filter, etc.. whole nine yards... So that $2200 turned in to over $6500.. And they are paying

I moved away from the 0.5 ohm coil and building my own now. Loving it too. Get slight little almost non noticeable leak. Thinking of a second tank too. How did you fix the leak problem?
