I prefer grits and greens....but also butter with salt and pepper. I will confess that the best grits I've had were in my brief residency in the SC Lowcountry.

Maybe I am missing something with Grits....I only recall grits at denny's and I did not think much of them other than cream a wheat :)

Many things can be done with grits....it can be a sweet breakfast food....it can be a savoury accompaniment at dinner! It is basically a creamier version of Italian polenta.

I make Baked Grits with Brie and Prosciutto. MMM, Tasty....

<<<still convulsing over the grits/Denny's reference. No food item is shown more disrespect, than at Denny's.......or Bob Evans.

Grits can also be used for wallpaper paste or spackle. lol I'll never be a Southerner, can't stand grits. I do make a mean shrimp and no-grits, rice.

Aaron Rodgers is a great QB but Seattle has killer defense. Can't wait for Pats and Colts. 7pm EST
Woohoo woohoo woohoo!!! Go Pats! No, I don't have a crush on Tom Broody
