It really does sound like a short some where, i have to admit i do not like working on newer cars with computers, so i do not know to much about that stuff. Give me an old car with a battery and a carburetor and i will work wonders. Give me a car with sensors, computer and shit and i am lost. But IMO It does sound like a short.

Well, if it still doing it, I would say most likely a dash ground or ECM ground problem.. Much like the '97 - '02 Jeep Cherokees that did the same thing. I'm thinking dash ground

@JustMe, i used to drag race a firebird formula and an 86 buick regal, my buddy and i built a 77 vega also. So i do like my GM products, just not the new shit. My dream is to build the fastest 1967 ford galaxie 500 in honor of my grandfather, he owned one before he past away and that was suppose to be my car when i grew up, but my dad being the jerk that he was back then decided to sell it for 75.00 because he was mad at my grandmother. I never met my granddad. He past before i was born, but that car sat in my garage for 14 years. I will build it one day.
