I'm awake, sorta.

Watching Today show, crazy stuff in the news...but a nice brekky. :)

1. Made a quicky Americano w/ white chocolate creamer.
2. Fried up some summer sausage, onion and black & green olives. Cracked egg added and shaped, applied then to a warmed English muffin with cheese and hab-mayo.

Noms were had. =)
CaFF, you have to stop doing this, unless you want to send me some take-out:D

russ, I learned the hard way. Before you buy, do a few things: google for best price, check Joe's deals, check for coupons in our coupon section and hook yourself up with websites such as, GotSmoke and Vaping Cheap.

... and don't crowdsource, especially with bozos like me involved. 'cuz I'll just point you one way, then point you in a different direction soon after (likely, right after you've made a purchase). :p :D

Intriguing. Takes the Hammond Box to a new level indeed. Not my thing...too fiddly. Thank you VERY much for sharing that...I love it when something utilitarian becomes a work of art.

Yeah it'd have to be a desk top rig for sure. I also noticed the gears are not put in correct places either. You can't stack that many gears together and not have it at least look somewhat functional/moveable.

I am interested in the liquid control, but because of the hole that was in the deck in mine, I never really got to use it. Cigabuy is sending me a new one though so I'll be able to try again in a couple of weeks (coming from China).

That being said... I put the topcap from the v4 onto my KFL+v2 and it does make top filling easier and less messy :)

Thinking about ordering more topcaps from fasttech. They are only about $2 each and I pretty much only topfill my KFL and Orchid now.

I did notice a flavor difference when I had it working (must have been holding it at just the right angle) so I am looking forward to trying it again.
How are you top-filling your Orchid?

I'm so glad you're okay and found the source of your sickness:)
I really can not put into words just how frightening it was....I really thought I was going to die, or at least go unconscious. Fortunately I was at Steam Craft Vapors and a friend Ryan was there, who is a paramedic.

No, you just have to work on your coil builds so that you don't inhale all that spitting juice :p
Pineapple is the only one that makes me cough when I vape.

Got a question for the gang...What size USB plugs do most of our chargers use that plugs into the standard 110 power plug? I need to connect two male cords/plugs together for a recording condenser mic and it's that same size/kind I need. I see 2.0 and 3.0 (it's not the mini like most phones) I wanna say normal size?

Here's the page I was on and both the 2.0 and the 3.0 just look same to me. I wanna say 3.0 is what I need but not sure. Thanks!

No bad at all. I'm trying to decide whether I want the 70 watt version or the 30 watt version. There's not much of a price difference, but I generally never go above 25 watts on my rdna 40.

USB 2 and USB 3 are the same size.. USB 3 can carry more current (900ma vs 500ma) and more data, obviously. USB3 is also blue as opposed to black on the inside.

There are also 2 different types of cables - USB Data/Charge cables (also know as Sync/Charge), and USB Charge cables. Obviously the USB Data/Charge cables do both, but, might be limited to just the 900ma of power. These are the cables used to plug say, a phone, into your PC. The USB Charge cables are designed for the 'wall wart' type of power supplies and can usually carry more power, like 2.1a for charging tablets, and dont carry data (sync).

If you are buying a a new cable AND need it to carry data, get USB3. Otherwise, all you need is a 'USB Charge Cable' which will allow things to charge, but carries no data.

As for the coupler you posted, yes, that will do to connect 2 USB2 or USB3 cables, or a combination of both. How much power it will carry I dont know, but I would assume it is for Data and thus not have a very high amp carrying capacity.

I have a room recording mic going to an Ipad for some simple weekly rehersal recordings. So I need more than just power. So I guess I'll go with the USB3 for sending the recording and for powering the mic. Thanks Midnight!
