I thought I was dying last night, it was as if there wasn't even any air. If I breathed through my mouth, my tongue dried up in like five minutes, but if I forcd myself to breath through my nose I started snoring so loud I even woke myself up. Barely got any sleep as you can imagine.

@vaperature , would it be possible to change your avatar? We have a good and regular member who is at risk for a seizure when it comes to images that pulsate or "move". That is actually a fairly common reaction for some people. There are some public places that make certain a ceiling fan is not directly under a light fixture for that same reason......thanks mate!

The day continues to evolve...

Forgot where I put my broom (I hide it away or Tiki won't even come out of the bedroom), so hunted it down and realized my hall closet sucked.

So, I cleaned it a bit. Can actually put both vacuums and the shampooer in there now. :)




Found this treasure while cleaning out the closet: my ancient Oster Regency Kitchen Center.



It's late 1970s old, and mine is a bit mismatched with a different color base, but it's an amazing machine and still very much liked by home cooks.
Here is one in prettier condition on Ebay for $195. Note: 5 people are watching that listing even at that price...

I should clean the 'ol gal up and make some pizza dough. =)

One of my guitar playing buddies says bright blinking colored lights do that to him.

So after I got them (I didn't know), he and his wife asked if we can not use them in my jam room when he's here. I love the guy and his wife is a great gal too, so they collect dust when they're here.

Here's a nice and soothing vid (until it gets turned on..haha) of a Kitchen Center being used. :)


It does far more than mix though. Its also an ice cream maker, blender, food processor, dough mixer, meat grinder - even stuffs the sausages with the right attachments.

It's a beasty. They just don't make stuff like this anymore. Mine is around 35yrs old and will still beat the pants off most new gear...loudly.

@Byter Thanks hun I did order from mt baker last night, I just do not like dealing with places I do not know. Took me 2 years to buy anything from anyone that wasn't Chris @ Cigtechs

So my friend and I are giving up candy for Lent We have decided that we will be eating ONLY lean lunches and working out while we do this, my sales rep just told us if we are going to do all that we better come in with ashes on our foreheads tomorrow or it doesn't count.

IMI hasn't been in here for awhile. I think I know why, but he pretty much said he was disappointed.

My kids went to Catholic school when they were little. I was used to seeing 2 or 3 kids at a time with smudged ashes on their foreheads. Then I went to help out in the cafeteria and one day happened to be Ash Wednesday. 200 kids with ashes on their foreheads really freaked me out for some reason.

Yeah, flavors are that way with the low price places. Juice is hit and miss, mostly miss. The flavors I've tried at Mt Baker are ok, not great but worth low price, and I keep it simple, nothing complex. Dream Tea there is good for instance. I've only tried ones rated 4.5 or 5. I really like Mt Baker because they have authentic coils cheap and free shipping I seem to recall. If I find a Juice worth reordering, so much the better. I will avoid Banana Nut for the safety of my children.
