Just last night, I had some bad nightmares of things that happened many years ago...woke up enraged throwing my covers off.
My kitty, who also woke up next to me, was like merrowwwwed at me, like WTF MAN? Stode her ground too and offered her head to pet...

How can you be angry at that?

I had to laugh at the look on her face...the basic '"you are a dumbass, but I love you anyways" look.
Ended up having a bit of water and a vape, then snuggled back up with my bigazz furball "familiar" and went back to sleep.

She is a companion, psychic filter for me, just as I'm her physical protector and provider. I'd never have lived this long without her. :)

Ahhh, all showered and shaved. All I can add to that is that you liked my post b4 I edited and added
that I have a Golden Sword in my heart..and that I have two black cats. Feral kitties showed up on their own about 3 months back and stayed. I knew it was an omen that I have to get back to the work...

I spend too much time on this forum and others but w/o a little R&R I'll snap
and do really bad things. I'm gonna dig up something I wrote about turning the other cheek
to post in Christian newsgroup. I get the feeling you'll understand...

Yeah. The menthol vape is helping, so is the humidifier. I was okay pretty much all night but about ten minutes ago I started coughing again from deep in the lungs. It's kind of painful. But it seems to be getting better.

My mom drove an old beat up convertible when I was little, like 6-7 maybe?

There was no radio in the car but she would load this old crappy radio with batteries all the time, with no antenna and have me moving it around to keep the music going while she drove, everywhere we went. I got pretty good at it...it was almost my ass if I didn't.

I sometimes found hanging it out of the car worked better and she would let me just to keep the music going. That was one of the songs she would sing loud and proud and did a good job with it the way I remember. That and 'clouds in my coffee' is about the only ones I remember.

I started reading it to see what all the hubbub was about after my wife picked up a copy. It was boring and we both stopped reading it less than halfway through it.

I had an old jalopy I couldn't find an antenna for so I grabbed some 1/2 copper plumbing tubing and wrapped a coil like a big spring about 4 " in diameter and 8" long and soldered it to the antenna mount. It worked like a charm
