Where they automatic or manual?

The one we're looking at is manual because we have heard the automatic transmissions have problems. I have not had problems with mine (its automatic) since I got it in 2004. It has 106,000 miles so that's why we are looking to buy a manual this time in case the automatic starts having problems

Consumer Report's readers don't have much good to say about the Passat or Jetta (least I think that is what it is based on pic)
Major problems with:
* Engine
* Transmission
* Drive System
* Fuel System
* Power Equipment

Golf Rabbit gets good scores. Ford Focus, and all Scions, Hondas and Toyotas get much higher marks on reliability.

<---- Tech Geek

Most banks have security that requires special handling the first time with a new computer. Their software has to confirm the computer. I think that is it.

What Bank?

my bank is the least of my problems now.
now every time i click on something, another window opens (sometimes several windows), most of them advertisements for malware, adware, and virus programs. i am even getting popup ads on VU.
i have run adaware, malware byte, rkill, avast virus scan. they found a few infections which were supposedly handled, but i am still plagued by this shit. and it's starting to piss me off big time.

This is what I was afraid of..

What programs came on the computer? Look for something called 'Superfish' or similar.

Yeah, I'd be pissed. And its a new computer... One thought is try to return it unless sure the malware wasn't there when you received it.

I'm not up to date on the latest PC 3rd party Malware removal tools. Personally, I think most of them are malware themselves with all nuisance attention messages. But Windows requires a lot of attention in general. Microsoft's malware solution was good the last time I needed it and its free. http://www.microsoft.com/security/pc-security/malware-removal.aspx Maybe Midnite has more up to date information.
