Am I doing something wrong?

I just started doing DIY juice and I have a question. I made a donut juice and it tastes really good in an Aspire Atlantis tank, I could taste the sweetness and the glaze, everything seems right. Now when I try it on a dripper it doesn't taste right at all. I thought maybe it's the dripper I'm using so I try another one that was rebuilt and still, the same weird, not good weird, taste. I decided to try it on my kanger subtank thinking it might just be good only in tanks and then again, sh*t taste.

Am I doing something wrong with the mixing of the juice or is there tanks that make nasty juice taste like "juice from the heavens?"

Juice tastes different in different tanks with different builds! If you liked it in the Atlantis, then vape it in that :)

You may need a lower flavor percentage in a dripper - the Atlantis mutes flavor by comparison.

The thing is trying the juice in a different tank/dripper doesn't make it taste even slightly good. Is that normal for even juices sold at vape shops?

If not, then I guess my juice just sucks lol

Did you l lower the percentage for the dripper? It not, try that. If it tastes great in the Atlantis you're doing something right!

I'm going to

I'll make another batch with lower percentage of flavor and see if that works. I'm not sure if the size of the tank matters too much with flavor but the other atomizers I tried the juice with that tasted weird had a shorter distance from the coil to the tip. I remember reading a post about it. If it is I guess it's right about some people saying too much flavor can be a bad thing haha

Yes I can use much less flavoring in some setups.

If you like the overall flavor in the Atlantis, make the same recipe, but reduce the overall percentage you use. For instance, I may make a recipe that's an overall 8% but use it at 6% in a tank. This is much easier of course if you make a base for your recipe!

What was the percentage of your flavor?

I made mine at 15% flavoring. Might have been too much to begin with I'm making another right now at 10%. I might just bring it down to 8% and see how that comes out.

When I started mixing I over did it on all my flavorings. I wiped the slate clean and started over much lower. I'm finally making good juice.

Also, try it at different watts, if you're using a vw mod. Sometimes lower or higher watts will make something taste better, depending on the atty.
