Marc Webb, the director of the two most recent Spider-Man films starring Andrew Garfield, has shared a few of his thoughts on the upcoming Marvel reboot.
"I'm really psyched that Spider-Man is going back to the Marvel universe, I'm really excited to see that incarnation," he told MTV (via Indiewire) at Comic-Con. "And Jon Watts is directing it, I knew him from the old music video days and he'd done some really fantastic music videos so it's really exciting."
That said, the director is still a bit heartbroken over the short-lived life of his take on the character. "It’s sad a little bit to surrender that in a way," Webb added.
