If you're a flagship phone user and have been holding off on upgrading to the Pixel 10 Pro because you can't stomach the usual prices, now might be the time to strike. During Amazon's Prime Day sale, you can snag a 256GB Pixel 10 Pro for just $799.

The Pixel 10 Pro's 256GB variation is typically a whopping $1099, but during the Prime Day sale, you can snag it for a full $300 cheaper. While $799 is still expensive enough to make a dent in most folks' wallets, it's nevertheless among the best deals we've seen yet for an unlocked version of this flagship Google phone.

In our Pixel 10 Pro review, we pointed out that the phone hadn't "substantially changed from last year's model, offering only some very subtle tweaks and under-the-hood updates that almost don’t matter."

Even so, the Pixel 9 Pro was already a fantastic offering, which ultimately makes the Pixel 10 Pro the best available phone in the current Pixel suite. With its 6.3-inch display, which features 1280 x 2856 resolution and a 1-120Hz refresh rate, you get all the pizazz you'd expect out of a screen on a modern flagship device in its price range. Combine that with some of the best cameras around, and you've got a pretty good reason to have this popular phone on your shortlist.

Pixel 10 cameras at a glance

  • 50MP Wide, 1/1.3" sensor, f/1.68, Laser AF, OIS, EIS
  • 48MP ultrawide, 1/2.55" sensor, f/1.7, 123-degree FOV
  • 48MP telephoto, 1/2.55" sensor, f/2.8, 5x optical, Laser AF, OIS, EIS
  • 42MP Selfie, f/2.2, 103-degree FOV

Unless you're adamant about holding off for the launch of the Pixel 11 Pro, which is rumored to drop in August of this year, this Prime Day deal is the best option for upgrading to a Pro device in Google's lineup.

Pixel 10 vs. Pixel 10 Pro

If you're wondering what the actual differences are between the regular Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro, Google has a helpful little comparison chart that breaks it down. What it mostly comes down to is the a slight screen upgrade and a better camera. The Pro comes with a 50 MP wide Pro camera with up to 100x high-resolotion zoom. The standard Pixel 10 still has a good camera, but it's just not as good and the screen is a little less vibrant.
