Harmonix announced that Amplitude, its Kickstarter-funded game, launches on January 5, 2016. It'll be available for purchase from the PlayStation Store, priced at $20.
Those who gave $40 or more to the game won't have to wait until January 5 to play Amplitude. So if that's you, you'll get the game on December 23. There are no details just yet on how to receive your code, but Harmonix notes to check its Kickstarter page for updates on that.
The first iteration of Amplitude was for PlayStation 2, and the Amplitude reboot was announced back in May of 2014. The Rock Band developer exceeded its $775,000 goal and ended up raising $844,128, with 14,112 backers.
