I'm not sure if the led has a circuit in the switch to only come on when it's pressed. In the pics when I ordered it they just have the neg and pos of the led hooked up to show the color. (Without pressing the button). So that makes me believe it needs to be wired to a hot that is only active when it's fired, witch would either be the return wire from the switch to the bored or the hot wire to the 510Why would you do that doesn't it turn on only when pushed? Your gonna blow it.pushing all that amperage. The led only turns on while pushed by what Tue spec.says so wire it to battery. Unless you know different.
Ig I'll just have to wait till Wed and see what it is. I'll just hook it to the bat with the resistor to see if it lights up without the button bein pressedThe dna40 output us around 1-2v usually during temp mod. I'd get a button that uses battery power which by what I'm reading you got.
What happened?Ig I'll just have to wait till Wed and see what it is. I'll just hook it to the bat with the resistor to see if it lights up without the button bein pressed
It's just the flux. I use alot. Seems like the more flux I use the less contact I need on the board to get it hot enough. I cleaned it all up no burns. I have a bad tip on my iron. So if I feel like it's takin to long I pull it away and give it a little wile so I don't hurt the chip. Still waiting on the powder coat was hoping to get it back today but doesnt seem to be happeningLooks like your holding the soldering iron to long on the contacts. It should only be on there for a second tops. To much heat will shorten the boards life or damage it. Just be careful
Or its just flux ya didn't clean off that looks Lil burned
Yup I used alcohol and QtipsI thought it was flux you can use rubbing alcohol and a paper towel to take it all off
