Someone over at that venue encouraged me to narc on other people selling e-cig supplies. They'll wait until hell freezes for that to happen.

I too wish the vaper haters would go the hell away. But I don't see that happening any time soon.
But in the mean time it's great to have VU here for all of us subterranean vapers. I see us as a subculture and that is not a bad thing. Vaping will continue be more widely recognized and even accepted on a certain level. But it will always be misunderstood by the majority. And ignorance will forever flourish and be a constant nagging frustration for us vapers.

etsy is focused on handmade, vintage items, crafts, knick knacks, toys and the like...
selling your e-cig stuff on a marketplace like that was a fail attempt to begin with...
it also shows you know nothing about marketing or marketing strategies, or placing your business in a

I have been looking at ecig stands on there, and aren't glass tips a craft? I just feel like it is discriminatory towards vapors, I also saw bling egos on there.

I would just start your own webpage and market that and become a vendor here on VU.. Set up a merchant account which is not hard to do.. That way you get around all this BS.

@glassgrl --Eff Etsy. I made an account when they first launched, and lurked around not really sure if I wanted to set up shop. I didn't log in for a while and they gave my friggen username to someone else. Then the place for flooded with the same old mass made shit from third world countries* that's available on Fleabay and everywhere else already, so really, what was their fucking point anyway? (*not that I don't enjoy some mass made shit from third world countries once in a while, but I thought etsy was supposed to be somehow different from all that)


@Valkyrie you have so much to say about how a biz should be run, can you tell me where your place of business is?
I need to know so I don't accidentally shop there.

I, and another glass drip tip maker had our accounts on Etsy suspended yesterday. The reason cited was e-cigs and e-vaporizers are "drug paraphernalia". Any accessories for e-cigs, etc. will be looked at the same way and the shop owners will get their accounts suspended also. I'm not happy about this to say the least as someone most likely reported our shops. You can go through that site and there are thousands of results for actual drug paraphernalia, but they won't be hearing that from me.

I tried to find this in their policies and came up empty, and AFAIK neither e-cigs or accessories are illegal in any of the 50 states and most countries. I guess it's a secret policy? So beware if you have a shop there or buy from there, your favorite seller might just disappear or your shop might just be suspended one day.
