Opa-Locka Florida? That place is worse than West Africa for getting mail out..
I got an opened box yesterday with 2 120ml bottles in it. Luckily they had barely leaked, not enough to tell any difference. Don't know if the vendor didn't tape, or if USPS messed with my stuff. All I know is this is the second time this week I've received juice that was leaking. The other one a bottle was open and leaked a noticeable amount. This is why I always try to intercept packages at the P.O., but they won't do it anymore for me. They're fucking rude as all hell, too.
My last vapemail did something that happens all the time...on its way from New York, NY to Saginaw, Michigan, it went to Ypsilanti Michigan, instead of Allen Park, Michigan (and then on to Saginaw) as it's supposed to be routed, and then, for some reason, it goes "out for delivery"...huh???...apparently, only then, they discover that my street address doesn't actually exist in Ypsilanti....then, they bring it back and sit on it for an extra couple days before the light bulb goes on in someone's head and they send it to Allen Park as it should have in the first place, and then to the Saginaw post office...every time I see this happen in tracking I know exactly how it will play out...

It's gotten really bad lately. My last few packages missed the "expected delivery date" THEY provided by 5-7 days. I have a package right now that took 4 days to go 120 miles to an NJ sort facility (30 min from my house), it left there 4 days ago, no status update, no package....

I know someone who works at a sort center who opined that some of these creative routings might be aimed at keeping volume up at sort centers that could be candidates for closing. Possible I guess. Also that quite a few USPS employees these days are not full time. Many are limited to 24hrs a week. They get bounced around on what sort they work and never really learn them very well.
I know that for many years I had a regular mailman that worked the route for a decade or more followed by another who did the same. These days as many as three different ones a week work my route and all are "trainees" or part time carriers. With about the results you would expect.

I notice that too...back in the day we knew our mailman...knew his name...left a gift for him at Christmas...nowadays, I see different one's on our route all the time....
Well this one went from Georgia to Florida and again bypassed Delaware all the way to PA an hour north of Philly. SMH.

in an effort to get this rant out in an existing post i found this one and what a surprise to find Florida and Georgia fucking everything up. i had 3 packages coming to me out of the florida georgia area and 2 out of 3 took huge detours. one to north carolina and another now in oklahoma (both going to louisiana). i never understood the hate toward usps when i only got packages now and again but i see the idiocy now. i mean wtf is going on here, these detours extended the wait 3 days on both and still waiting on one of them. i cant imagine the job is too complicated...
Well shit, I have two packages coming to me from Florida. One vendor has always been great, though. My Yaeliq order has been taking forever, though I expected that. It was stuck in customs for a few days after a week or so of country preparing shipment. Now it left NY almost three days ago with no updates. I'm guessing it's gonna just show up.
a package from washington gets to louisiana in 2 days flat, every single time. but trying to order off the south east cost takes 4 days if im lucky and 6-8 with detours, its ridiculous
Maybe all your vape mail coming thru my home state can get diverted to my house? I kid, dunno why stuff would go through Oklahoma, we're kinda centrally located, but there are much bigger cities that make more sense to route through. I've ordered stuff from TX that took like a month, really? Dallas is a 45 minute flight from okc, okay? TX ain't that damn big.

There is a place in New Jersey where my vape mail constantly sits for at least 3 days when it gets there. It starts with a K, can't remember the name of the town/city of the top of my head but I know the feeling. It's annoying as hell. Usually my packages take 2 days when I order juice from Giant vapes, but when I order hard ware from place's on the other side of the country, it takes at least 7 - 10 days which is obnoxious.

I've got 3 pieces of vapemail being held hostage right now by the USPS....one, the carrier said my mail receptacle was blocked (it wasnt) and that he left a notice (he didn't)...I had to go online without a number that is supposedly on this non existent notice to have it redelivered....I put the tracking and explanation in the note on their redelivery site and hopefully it finds its way here...
Another sat at the PO in CA for days before going to the wrong PO in Detroit and has sat for days....who knows if and when that will get here...
Yet another one has sat in FL for a few days and hasn't moved...for some reason...

That sucks @Spike64 they can be real boneheads. My second Yaeliq order is finally moving, but it never even scanned at customs, just when it left Flushing, NY. That was close to two weeks after ordering. It was originally stuck at origin post is preparing shipment. My first one from Yaeliq was stuck in customs for a few days. Then, it was updated to out for delivery, and the scan said something about unable to deliver, improper address, will return to sender. Well, it was in my mailbox, wtf? I was about to go apeshit if it were sent back to Israel.
It's just a complete toss up with them. I've twice recently had orders that went from shipping label created, to in my mailbox, and still never updated. They're cheap, you get what you pay for. They're supposed to scan everything now, which didn't used to be the case. They definitely don't follow that policy.

They don't give a shit...they seem to be unaccountable to anyone...every try to contact them?....takes forever....if you are lucky enough to eventually speak to a human, they are of no help at all, know nothing, and generally don't seem to really care much...
all my stuff always ends up in NJ somehow these days. That's usps and ups. I'm in northern MD, ordered from Delaware went 2 places in NJ, then to Baltimore, then up my way. Ordered from Florida, same shit. When I ordered from another place it sat in new Jersey for ever!
LOL my prior order from 101vapes was sent 350 miles out of the way to Federal Way Wa.
I am trying to figure out the level of motherfucking stupid that sent my recent order to god damned Jersey instead of Oregon.. 350 is kind of forgivable but 2500 miles is a fair bit of really fucking dumb.
That kind of shit will make people order else where, than fuck with the postal sloths fucking up that badly.

You know I'm sure they have some sort of ridiculous reason that none of us would ever think of for sending it that far out of the way. What I wanna know is if there is anyone in here that works for these sad sons of bitches that would have the answers to these questions...
You know whats funny... 5 minutes after I posted, I checked the status of my vape mail coming from NYC... For some reason, they decided to send it all the way to Albany first. I live in Newburgh, Hudson Valley area. Makes no fucking sense.

Well....not really a knock on the USPS, but while we were out and about today, the mailman tried to deliver my Sigelei Mini....problem is that unbeknownst to me, there is postage due so he left a notice on my door and no package...WTF?...I had to fill out a form telling them that I'll pick up the package on Monday at the post office...I also sent an email to the vendor asking them why I have to pay postage...pisses me off...
That blows. At least it's not a holiday week again. I'm curious what this vendor has to say regarding this. Sounds like some bullshit. Let us know what happens, I understand not wanting to mention the vendor, I still am curious as to why that possibly would occur.
My Yaeliq order came, no updates until out for delivery, but no leaking juice for once. I chased the mailman down the street on foot, and he actually handed it over. Both orders from them have said insufficient address info, item will be returned, when they get delivered and scanned. Fucking weird. He had no logical explanation for that. I have it, and my coil master came on Friday, so I'm good. It didn't update for two days, and went from sitting in Ohio in a sort facility, to out for delivery. The USPS has been super shitty with scanning lately.

Have you ever talked to any of the USPS workers, not the ones , behind the counter, but the ones that work in the sorting stations ? I have... 97% aren't bright enough to wipe their ass with one hand .
I actually talk to one frequently. As he's explained it to me, the USPS is incredibly poorly run and understaffed. And then, yes, like anywhere there are a plethora of idiots working there I'd guess, too.

I worked on letter sorting machines, at the Bakersfield PO for almost a year in 84, while waiting on the DOD to get my clearance and work visa done. Seemed the vast majority turned off their brains when they clocked in !!!!!!
I got a response back from the vendor...he has no idea why postage is being charged...said he uses the post office's own postal program to ship...so it must be their fuck up (I wouldn't put it past it being a USPS mistake)....said he'd reimburse me the cost....at this point I dont care about that... I'm more ticked that I dont have my mod in hand and that I have to waste my lunch hour driving across town to the post office on Monday to get the package than I am over a few dollars...
Give your vendor the benefit of the doubt. It's probably all on USPS and it's probably less than a quarter.That's my experience anyway.
Actually its $3.04....I do believe the vendor...I'm not pissed about the money...I'm pissed like any other vapemail whore would be that my mod was at my door and now it has to sit at the Post Office for a couple days before I have to go retrieve it...fuckers...lol
