Hey guys, new to this forum. I just had deviated septum surgery about 2 weeks ago on my nose so I'm asking this for bext weekend when I hopefully am able to vape again. I recently converted to an RBA rebuildable coil right before my surgery and havent vaped since the night before my surgery, but i was wondering if i will need to do anything to my coil when im able to use my e-cig again. I use a kanger subtank on an eleaf 30w.

Keep some juice in the tank while it sits and it should still vape fine after a week.

If you close up the airflow and plug the drip tip it will help keep the coil from drying out.

Keep the wick moist, not drenched. If you have juice in the tank with a little juice in it, and shake it every once in a while, stir things up. Close all the air holes and plug the tip. Which will help. If you have a fear it's drying out and won't be any good, open it up and see. You don't want your coils sitting like this for long, but its a safe "holding" way. Also, make sure the coils are kept in a dark cool place (dresser drawer will suffice). You don't want it getting too hot or freezing cold. Hope your surgery went well!

In my experience, letting juice sit in RTA/RBA's for a good amount of time (a week), makes the juice turn FOUL! I actually asked this in a FB post today as to why it happens-- the gunk from the coils and the wick start releasing into the juice, therefore causing the horrible flavored juice I'd try to vape once switching RTA's that I've let sit for a while. A girl described it as leaving a water bottle in the car for a while. The chemicals from the plastic start to mix in. I'd empty the tank (if juice is still good just pour it back in the bottle), and come back to it and rewick when you're ready

The subtank is glass, so it should be absolutely fine! Just make sure to press the fire button before you put your mouth over the drip tip, because if it's sat for a while you might get a big pop

Alright guys so i plugged the tip and the airflow holes. I hope it ends up fine, id hate to waste a solid 1/2 a tank, but if need be i can just rewick the coil and refill the tank. Thank you all for the feedback, the surgery went well and I have been breathing nicely out of my nose. Should be back to vaping by next week when im fully cleared and il let yall know if i have any questions. Really impressed with this forum, friendly and knowledgable group here!
