wondering if any of you collect comics?

Not really but I do have a few big boxes full of 1990's stuff.
They are so heavy that they aren't worth selling because of shipping but they are so nice that i'm not going to just throw them away.

I have a nice collection of Simpsons comics and few boxes of the old MAD magazines when they were book size. I go to the local comic/vintage toy shop and browse for the aesthetics, I actually live like 20min from the Hall of Heroes museum but haven’t been there yet.

Used to, got a hm, smallish collection that like hm ten to twenty years ago I could rough estimate at around $5,000 worth. I've added on to it a bit so it might be around $7,000 to $8,000 but that's a decade or two ago prices. No, not had anything independently graded. I'd need money to do that & well I've not got that funny shit anywhere handy, oh wait, sell my comics, ... duh ...*lol* My stuff I would give a rough rate of Fair to Very Good quality for most of the collection, but again not an independent grade.

Got an assortment, some Iron Man, some Superman, more X-Men, X-Force, some Ninjack. There's stuff in it now I'm not sure what's there. Got away from collecting when Marvel started shipping the art work to Hong Kong CGA (Computer Graphic Arts) chop shops. They 'gave up the ghost' at that point, don't want to pay artists to draw comics, let computers do that now, may as well let computers write them too. Then Disney bought out Marvel and well, I just don't bother too much collecting now.

Love comic books. Its been a long time since I have actively collected but still have a decent collection. Asa far as readers I was a big fan of image, dark horse and stuff like spawn, savage dragon, vampirella and evil ernie. Also collected a lot of golden age DC and marvel stuff. Going to have to pull out the rows and take a trip down memory lane.

If you want to get rid of some, I would love to chat it up to see what you have that I'd be interest in!!
I'm more of a marvel collector but do have a few DCs.

Only have a few sealed + graded but do have a bunch that are autographed as I went to a lot of comic conventions.

No...we sell them all to buy mods.

Or those passing folks that smile and take the money stuff, you might get ten minutes of bliss and a two hour nap after. Chances are though they'll tell you inflation has made even the cheapest jobs too expensive for you to afford. then, i guess if you can pry some money stuff back from them, you buy a mod. hm, i might also go buy a six of pbr, been a while. not that i need but what the hey, cold wet drink, yum. :)
