Anyone else experiencing mail delays?

I have several orders that are being held up, all but one from US vendors. Usually, when it hits my PO, I get it that day. Well, I have 3 orders, all from online vape stores (drip tips, battery cases, heads), that have been at the PO since Thursday or Friday (today is Monday) and another that hit the PO today (juice) and wasn't delivered. I am, however, getting my mail, and I am getting Wizard Labs deliveries and Fast Tech (drip tips) deliveries. Just coincidence? Heatwave slow down?

I live in the UK fasttech can take a month to get to me. 3F vapes is much quicker just a couple of weeks. No heatwave in the UK, but it is hot for our climate :shades:

If it's your local PO why don't you just pick them up. Sounds like pure laziness, or they don't have short pants to deliver in this heat. Lol

The thing is, this hasn't happened before. And other packages are coming through with no delays at all. If they're being lazy, it's a bit of a coincidence that it's only with my vape mail. Picking up is a bit difficult since I leave for work before they open and get home after they close. If they don't get here this week, that's what I'm going to have to do Saturday.

Not sure if this applies to interstate stuff but.... anyways...

Looks like FDA is already checking stuff outs...

Other than delivery time doubling, no problem yet. I've been ordering from China, so haven't had the age verification problems yet. But delivery time has doubled on my last couple orders. They probably have been swamped over there though, with everyone stocking up. Seems like the package lays in China for twice as long, as well as USPS taking longer. With what's going on with the new regs, I can't complain. I'm willing to wait. But when my government starts seizing the goodies, we will go to war!

Ordered Mother's Milk WTA 10 days ago, and it is still MIA. Also, mail service in general has been terrible over the past few weeks. Sent a monthly check to my Discover Card, which never arrived. I called to straighten it out, and they said all was fine, but what they did after indicated otherwise. Also, took 12 days to get check to my electric bill, and after mailing others, noticed the local mailbox was overflowing. Had to make several calls to get the box collected. As for DC and electric, they were sent directly from a Post Office. Three sent, only 1 arrived on time.

Your "odd" delay happened where I live. That's just WEIRD. I'm definitely experiencing mail delays, but not vape related.

It's interesting. I get my amazon stuff ultra fast in 2-3 days from 5 states over, but a package mailed 2nd day select from 1 state over takes a freaking week.

Well, got my juice after a 2 day delay, my other three packages are still sitting there. I just confirmed, one has been sitting since the 9th. Funny since this also affected a "real" prescription, which was held for 3 days. But it's not affecting eBay or Amazon for me either. And, so far, not affecting Wizard Labs or Bull City.

Time to start using private couriers to bolster the underground vape express, keep their grimy fingers out of our stuffs. Bastards. If the feds insist on digging through everything, maybe the packages should be marked 'emails, nothing to see here' and they'll pass right through without a second glance. lmfao.

Still waiting on the remaining three packages being held at my local PO. However, I did order a VT75 Nano and KBox 160 that shipped Tuesday and arrived today. :finger: USPS and :finger: FDA.

I've ordered quite a few things that have arrived over the past week with no hold ups. Maybe it's just your post office..

LOL, don't even get me started there. I had a FedEx guy drop an Alienware laptop next to my garbage can at the top of the drive. My drive is about 200ft long through woods. I've found many a package chucked off to the side of the drive by FedEx, UPS, and USPS deliverymen who were either too lazy to walk up and didn't realize the drive ends in a circle you can easily drive a truck around without backing up.

FWIW, two of the three held packages were delivered today. The last has been sitting there since the 9th.

Last held package arrived today. Now I have another drip tip order that's been circling a hub for 10 days, apparently, and a China package that's spent two weeks in Chicago.

That's frustrating, glad you got the original orders you were waiting on though finally.

I hear you, I've had ups and fedex screw the pooch more than once. Ups mostly around here, I've had them leave it at neighboring houses, in the driveway outside the gate (not inside the gate), at deserted houses left on a porch with a no trespassing sign.

Had one driver say they couldn't find my house, that really irritated me. They were on a private gravel road in front of a neighbor's place and said they couldn't find my house. They were literally facing my house, if they'd driven another 5ft they would've reached my gate directly in front of them. With house numbers I made over 2ft tall and a foot wide (from the last idiot who said they couldn't see my address).

Another trick they like to pull is 'attempted delivery failed, no one home' as they drive on by. It's easier to just keep going and mark it a failed delivery attempt, leave it on the truck for the next driver. I noticed that one on a package I was waiting for and tracking, it said out for delivery. I literally watched the jerk drive on by at full speed, 5min later my tracking info updated to a failed delivery. I called the distribution center and they repeated the info back to me that no one was home. I said are you kidding me, I just watched them drive past. Luckily dispatch made them come back and redeliver it.

In desperate need of one of those memes, "you had ONE job to do...".

Ooh FedEx has done that to me. Once, I stayed an hour and half later than quitting time at work waiting for the delivery - they just never showed and claimed no one was there. Of course it was a Friday - so couldn't get my stuff till Monday :headbang:

Yep, have had that happen many times over, including when expecting perishable deliveries.

I've had that happen a couple times, once when I was in the freaking front yard trimming the Lilacs. The truck slowed down and then sped up. Called the Fedex number and told them what happened, they wanted me to pay a fee to reroute to my office on Monday. Nutz to that crap, the driver showed up at 7:10pm full of attitude.

I simply told him that it would have been easier to deliver the package in the first place rather than be redirected at the end of his day to deliver the package.

LOL like today. Says it's out for delivery, when I know they're already done for the day. This happens all the time.

I love how they piss and moan and ask me 'well what are we supposed to do when we can't find a destination?'. To which I reply well see, it's like this. It's 2016 and I possess this dark magic to be able to locate addresses. They call it .... g..p..s. It's like a map but from this century. You should really try it sometime, I hear it's fantastic. But we don't have gps installed on the trucks. Oh I see, so your driver has the only iphone without gps built in? I'm sorry for your blight. Asshats. Fyi that tomtom shit's like $49, I think you can afford it.
