That's frustrating, glad you got the original orders you were waiting on though finally.
I hear you, I've had ups and fedex screw the pooch more than once. Ups mostly around here, I've had them leave it at neighboring houses, in the driveway outside the gate (not inside the gate), at deserted houses left on a porch with a no trespassing sign.
Had one driver say they couldn't find my house, that really irritated me. They were on a private gravel road in front of a neighbor's place and said they couldn't find my house. They were literally facing my house, if they'd driven another 5ft they would've reached my gate directly in front of them. With house numbers I made over 2ft tall and a foot wide (from the last idiot who said they couldn't see my address).
Another trick they like to pull is 'attempted delivery failed, no one home' as they drive on by. It's easier to just keep going and mark it a failed delivery attempt, leave it on the truck for the next driver. I noticed that one on a package I was waiting for and tracking, it said out for delivery. I literally watched the jerk drive on by at full speed, 5min later my tracking info updated to a failed delivery. I called the distribution center and they repeated the info back to me that no one was home. I said are you kidding me, I just watched them drive past. Luckily dispatch made them come back and redeliver it.
In desperate need of one of those memes, "you had ONE job to do...".
