Hmmm. Nice out & about mod. Depending on price may be a winner. Wonder if it has settable TCR.

It seems a very nice mod....a lot like the Xvostick....although I promised myself not to buy any more mods for a while...I think I'll be making an exception for this one :D

A long sad story with a lot of crap going on at ecf. Many are leaving, a major exodus, & now calling vu home, swelling the ranks. Joe is welcoming all, just put up the badge for any refugees that want it. :)
Not trying to be the hyperbole police but I wonder what constitutes a "major exodus"? It's one thing for some members to get fed up and leave- and considering the shitty way that Roxynoodle's situation is being dealt with, I don't doubt some people will leave- but even if just 2% of their registered members are active, that represents nearly 5000 people. So the number of folks leaving would need to be relatively huge for it to be considered a major exodus. I'm not defending ecf, just saying.

Hmmm. A smaller version style Pico.

No I am sure it's not going to be a dna chip. It's priced at 49 preorder at 101 vape

It's not a DNA40 chip, the owner of the Smoant brand is apperantly Coupor (not that excited about that)....It's an unknown chip as far as I know.
Still gonna order :D
btw: 101vape also has them on "comming soon"

If it works as well and lasts half as long as my Cloupor Mini 30W has, I'm in for two.

mgmrick on ECF just got one. He says it is made out of pot metal. It weighs in at 9oz or 255g which is lighter than a VTR at 327g. I loved my VTR until I had to put it in my pocket. He says the wattage control produces a good vape. The VTR pwm power drove me up an adjustment nightmare, which the 40 watt TC clone chips in the vapor flasks cured. My current desktop mod is a RX200. It delivers whatever any device can do today. But it weighs too much to be portable. I need a six hour chain vaping mod that uses a 18650 battery and is side by side and stealthy. Has anyone here gotten one yet? 101vapes is still on not-available mode.
Particular questions I have are:
1.How many ml of e-liquid per battery charge.
2.What is the voltage left in the battery when the device will no longer function. My clone vapor flasks quit at 3.62v@15W. My RX200 quits at 3.20v@any watts 30 or lower where it should.
3.The device doesn't say it has TCR setting or memory spots. The difference between the required TCR coefficient of my triton tanks and kayfun v4 tanks with the same ohm coil is dramatic. It is over thirty for SS alone.

I'm not sure exactly where I found the info, but somewhere I saw a comment that these would be shipping in approximately 4 weeks, so sometime early May would be my best guess. I also saw that the SS is tuned for 316L, but haven't been able to confirm that info yet. Coming out of Shenzen, I doubt that it has any manual TCR settings, but who knows, there isn't enough info yet to confirm it. With any luck it will be "firmware upgradeable" and they will push one out to do manual TCR.

After 24 hours of use as soon as these knights land in usa I will buy the black unit...heck being so cheap might buy a couple of them. ( I like to have spares even though it's been a long time since a mod has failed me)

Now for the negatives or a better word... the differences compared to the other couple of dozen mods I have.

1) When charging through usb it works just fine but the whole screen stays lit when connected to usb.

3) It's a tad heavy weighing in at 9 oz with a battery installed (no atty)

I was supposed to get this for a review, but somewhere something went wrong and Smoant never shipped it. If I do get it, I'll be able to give you a better idea of how it compares against other chip sets. It looks promising on paper, but Smoant designed it themselves, so no guarantees.

I have been using the test unit since 4.11.16 zero issues with the knight.

I ordered and received the black knight from 101 and it also works perfect

I like it . I got it form 101 with the tank . It is heavy for how small it is but I like that , it's a very solid feeling mod . I've had zero issues the past couple weeks . Only 1 battery and I'm usually vaping around 40-60 life is short , but I use it at home so easy to swap batteries on the fly .
The tank is basically a nicer kanger subtank with too fill and can even use the same coils .
It's priced cheap yet is a solid device . I like it.

I liked the first one from 101 so much, I bought a second. I bought the mod only for $39. (Heard too many bad or so so reviews on the tank, and just don't need it.) You can use a tank up to 23mm. I'm running one with a cubis and the other with a clieto right now. I have also used my Conqueror. I'm in love with them. They are heavy! I've run in VW and TC/SS mode and they've both handled well. The battery will run down to about 3.5-3.7V. I run the Clieto .4 head at 35-38w and I get all day out of the LG HG2. Personally I highly recommend this little mod. The things I would watch out for are - if you don't like heavy, don't get it; if you need more than 60W, it's not for you. Other than that, I think it's a winner.

Does it do a custom TCR? If not, which SS is it set for?
