I don't have a picture but im sitting at work messing with my 24 gauge. I made 3 strands of twisted wire (all twisted the same direction). once I made those I took all 3 and twisted them together (opposite way of the single strands) I don't have an ohm reader and it wont fit in my rba on my subox mini that's for sure. its pretty thick wire but has anyone tried it before?

I know its the wrong one for this type. I do have a mutation x v4 coming but have you tried this before?

I tried several twisted and wrapped set ups.
The tricky part is getting enough clearance for wicking and not touching the walls.

I notice not much room to stick anything through

24 you are starting to get into the realm of hanger wire thickness and not many atties will take multiples of thick strands.

yes its pretty thick, I wrapped at 2 mm and I measured the thickness next to the tip I used and its pretty close to 2mm. its tough and harder to bend now

Try some 22 and larger.. without pliers and torch you might as well try to coil a coat hanger.

do you think I can fit a dual 24 gauge in the subox mini if I wrap at 2 or 2.5? prolly .3 or .4 ohms

Don't have mine in yet to check. Have seen a couple reviewers say the 24 is to thick in solo strand to get a good connection with 24.
I know my dark horse and Baal (both clones tri posts) have room but not a lot for adjustments.
My Mutty had load of room if it fit in the holes since it was a t center post design. Passed it off to a friend who was starting out.

I did one like that with 28g once. It squealed like something not of this earth - I mean, it literally sounded like it was screaming at me. Couldn't really tell if it was out of despair, rage, hated, or some combination of the 3.

I thought it might be possessed, so I didn't vape it. I think I did the right thing by unwinding it. More than anything, I got the sense that it cursed its own existence and wanted nothing more than the sweet release of death. I had to put the lid back on that box. I will carry the burden of the evils I wrought on that day within my heart for the rest of my life.

There are many differeent versions of every type of wire/coil
Heres a 3 strand twisted build I use in my Derringer.
24g/28g/32g Lightly Twisted around a 3mm Bit, its a great flavor producer and doesnt use much wattage
