Hi, I'm just wondering. Anyone here using the Vaporshark dna250? Should I get it? I really like the aesthetic of it but have heard some issues on the batteries. And yes, I've used many DNA mods before, dozens of them already, from DNA40, 75, 166, 167, 200 all the way to 250 and in-between, so I know the chip is good.

I use the VS DNA200 (same exact everything minus the chip) as my ADV and it's a great mod. Battery life is a little short but the zip charging more than makes up for it. If you are ok with getting overhang on anything lager than a 23mm and having the screen on the bottom, it's a great mod to go with. Off the top of my head I can think of one person using the VS250, maybe he can drop in and give his opinion.

I love my Vapor Shark DNA 250. Powerful, light and great to vape on. Would I recommend it? Yes. Just keep in mind that it has a 22mm depth so if you have atomizers over 22mm wide that you plan on putting on it they will overhang to whatever extent. Aside from that, I have no complaints and am pretty sure you won't either. Good luck with your purchase! :)

I'm using one. It is the lightest mod I've ever owned. I will admit it goes through the battery pretty quick with low builds (fused Clapton dual coil) I built a .50 dual coil and it has been good at 50 to 55 watts. The 2amp charging is awesome I am fully charged in no time. I've had no issues with the finish. I'm really glad I pulled the trigger on this one. Not sure if you're into big diameter RDA or tanks but 22mm looks the best on it. Hope this helps.

My finish is supposed to be the updated one but I have my doubts...

It goes everywhere with me and I don't use the skin but it's never been abused. I spoke with VS about it and since it's out of warranty, it would only cost $25. According to the guy I spoke with, the "diagnostic fee" will cover most everything not involving the chip.

Mine definitely needs to go back but not for the finish, in fact I like the worn look. The other issues are a worn out and mushy firing button (common problem) and juice down in the screen. Be real careful using bottom airflow RDA's as juice can easily find it's way into the mod.

Not trying to discourage you, just a heads up.

I had the same issue with juice in the display with my first unit. So far no juice in my new replacement unit (I'm being extra cautious)!
