Warner Bros. upcoming standalone Aquaman film will reportedly feature Black Manta as movie's main villain.
According to The Wrap, Jason Momoa's Atlantean hero will have to confront Aquaman's greatest nemesis in James Wan's forthcoming film. That said, Warner Bros. has yet to officially comment on whether or not Black Manta will indeed appear in the film.
Black Manta made his DC Comics debut in 1967 in Aquaman #35. While his abilities include enhanced strength and endurance, it's worth noting that in DC Comics' New 52 reboot, Aquaman's archenemy is a normal human without any superhuman powers.
