Arctic burning

I'm using the horizon arctic tank with .2 btdc coil and running about 45 w using the IPV mini 2. I continue to get burning even though I changed the coil and never let it run dry. Anybody have some tips? Thanx in advance

My .2 coils also tasted burnt the first couple times I tried them. I ended up using the .5 coils and have used them ever since. Wish I had an answer for the .2 coils, but I can recommend using the .5 coils. Flavor and vapor production are top notch.

Only one reason , not enough juice for the watts . Now , or when it was first loaded , sorry dude .

I am having the same issue. Tank is great but I have had to change the coils out every couple of days. Does anyone know if this has anything to do with the way the tank is built? Screw in to tight? Seal not sealing? Air coming in? This is getting more expensive than smoking

What I found out is i wasn't priming the coil properly.

I don't get it... I mean my Arctic .2 vapes great at 55-60w without dry hits and not even close to burnt taste. . I can chain vape a half tank and only the drip tip and base of the tank gets a little hot but no dry (or burnt) hits ... this coil wicks fast with those long juice slots, even with the thick VG max juice l use.
I do prime a new coil and start at about 30w to break it in and after a few good deep lung pulls I bump up the watts a little till I reach my sweet spot of about 55-60w or so judging by how it vapes...coils are lasting about two weeks .
But my Arctic sits on the shelf along with the Herkales ever since I got the Crown....this tank is top dog, suddenly making my other subtanks obsolete, lol

Moving to clearos...

Wish I had an answer, the Arctic is still my top-shelf tank (I haven't shelled out for any in a while, looking at the Crown though), but I can't seem to push it much above 35 watts with most coils. I've had a couple handle 50 after the break-in @smacksy describes, but only for maybe a week at best.
