Arctic Fox firmware update

Hey All,

Picked up an RX 2/3 from a friend of mine. I want to put the Arctic Fox firmware on it to manage with the NFE toolbox.

I figured out that I need to use the Wismec updater and choose the Arctic Fox bin file. However, when I open the Wismec updater, I get this tiny window that is seemingly cutting out what I need to use it. See attached pic. I see what looks like the top of 3 blue links, but I don't know what each does since the window cuts them out. Does anyone know how to resize the window? And if that isn't possible, does anyone know which of the 3 choices I should click?

Right but look at the pic of my screen. It cuts off at the bottom.

I finally got around to installing on my rx 2/3 today. As mentioned install the toolbox and you wont have any issues.

I tried it b4 using the toolbox and got an error message. I'll try again and if it doesn't work I'll upload a screenshot

You also need the correct version of the editor to go with the bin file. Editor v7.07 bin file 170508 or 170509 or 170510 the latest. Otherwise you get an error message. Win 10 works fine no problems.

Custom power curve. Does it in .1 second increments (wow!)

Gonna keep tinkering with it.

You will be so much happier with the RX 2/3 with the AF firmware, I know I am.
Kid free zone at work I get most of my playing done here on either mod I have it installed on. Then go home and use it come back and if I have time do it again. Now lets hope the 510 stays put in the RX. LOL

They did a good job with the program it makes an ok mod into a good one. Even though I can tell a difference in my DNA mods I've still been using my Joyetech chip mods most of the time. There not as smooth in TC but close enough to make me want to play with them and made me fall in love with of all things my Istick TC200W mod. After fixing the battery door of course.

Ah the battery door. My step son broke also. He doesn't want to fix it so I am trying to get it from him. LOL

Wonder if Windows 10 is an issue

Might be for the wisemec.... have you read through the issues pages on the AF site... I remember seeing discussion about wisemec install issues.... and procedure for upload/diwnloads

FYI: Check the NFEteam web site as they have regular stable updates that keep adding features. The nightly builds work but are unstable test beds and can be buggy.

Whatever I'm using now is great. Now that I've got the RX23 working with ArcticFox, I wanna sell my GPriv. If anyone's interested I made a post under hardware sales :).

I just installed this a couple of days ago. I'm on an RX2 21700. It was good before (as far as someone who's only been vaping 3 weeks and only used 2 mods can tell anyway) but now with AF, I love it so much more. Such a great firmware, and being able to customise the resources to your liking is a plus too. Also love the lazy mode profile switching, when I get motlre tanks, it's a good feature that the mod will automatically switch to the profile I have set up for it.
