Well i'm new to vaping and I just found ArcticFox firmware and I don't want to fk up device, all i really want is a good set up for longer battery life. i was charging it two to three times a day before I installed arctic fox, we will see if I get any better battery life tomorrow cause I just installed it, but if anyone has a good configuration for battery life please share.

Too get good battery life use low wattages.... TC supposedly uses less battery than VW.. but i get opposite results in practice....

But battery life and juice consumtion are directly related to the size of the coil and number of watts you ask it to produce. Smaller and fewer the longer the battery lasts.

Those setting don't affect battey useage..... only how the mod tracks usage.. it calibrate the gauge. Not mod output.

that first photo was stock, this is how im going to try and run the device cause with that stock setup after 3 or 4 puffs at 130 watts my batteries drop from 100% to 93%. if I find a great setup for battery life ill post it. but here is my first test setup any tips or suggestions would be appreciated for sure

you may be right but so far with new settings im still holding 100% battery after 6 puffs, compared to old settings i would be less then 93% already. ill have to test this all day and see if there is a different or not so far there seems to be one

I am at work so when I can I will try and get it for you.
You can go in and they already have some preset. What I did was use one as a starting point and dialed it in from there. You will have to tweak them to what you like and want.

Are you basing better life offf of Gauge reading or a clock and puff counter..... Because the gauge says whatever you tell it to say based on its state of charge.

I could be wrong.. But changing battery profiles does nothing for me but change the percentage I see or number of bars at a given voltage
IMO if you are getting better life it has more to do with other mode or power settings.

I didn't see this info and it might be of some help. What battery's are you using and what wattage are you vaping at.
Disregard, built in battery. I forgot. I need my coffee. LOL

ya i don't think that power curve is any good it killed my super quick
Yeah the stock curves are power hungry....cool down is not too bad.

I did my own... rewrote the linear curve. Mine starts at 150% of set watts down to 80% over 3 second of draw. Gives me about the same hit and heat as does the TC mode. Is my Target for getting TC dialed in.

I used the stock cool down and adjusted to my liking. I actually like it better than TC now and can get a curve dialed in faster than I can dial in TC.
