asMODus Ohmsmium vs geepvape aegis

Hi

Looking for one durable device, water resistance is not important. Survival drops from 5-6 feet to concrete is the most important. Also, the smaller, the better. And, the quality of overall components is the paramount importance.
Feature wise, those both devices looks like have the same parameters, give or take.

So, which one would be a better choice?

Any suggestions appreciated.

Can't comment on the other one but I can tell you that I love my Aegis. I am not too hard on my mods and have not dropped it or torture tested it but it performs great. I like the feel of it and it seems to be very solidly built. Wish I could help you more but thought that I would just give you my 2 cents on the Aegis.

I have nothing against Aegis except size. It is as big as dual battery MOD. It was my first choice, but then I found Asmodus and it appear to be a smaller one.
Now I am in between new and old. If no one participate here with Asmodus, most likely I will get Aegis.

It is a 26650 mod and not as big as many dual 18650 mods. It is heavier than a normal single 18650 though. The toughness of it weights it down a little but I like that it feels solid. If you want a light mod take a look at the Tesla WYE. Really light but also a good performer. I have both and use both daily.

I personally dont like single 18650 mods because i vape a lot and the battery life sucks.

I'm with you. It seems like I kill a single battery mod in less than an hour but a dual will last all day.

After long thoughts I ordered both Aegis and Asmodus, will see which one is better.

It is all depends on the wattage. I use dual mods for 90 watt and above, and single battery for 60 watt and below. And I don't vape only one tank daily, at least 3 or 4 (with its own mod), to change flavors, so my taste buds don't get used to one flavor.

Thanks all for suggestions.

Update

Finally got them both, so first look and size comparison.

From left to right: Eleaf Pico 25 (really small), Asmodus Ohmsmium, GeekVape Aegis and Smoant Battlestar (18650 x2). Aegis is larger than Battlestar, but not heavier. Ohmsmium is definately smaller, BUT it is really heavy, it probably made from armored steel.

Both of them are comfortable in hand, Ohmsmium is just a bit more slippery, but if I drop Ohmsmium on my wooden floor, it will definately dent it, I am sure it can dent even pavement, WOW.
