I'm using this mod with a smok tfv8 tank which is using the v8-t8 coils. My problem is when I change the coils and put a new one in then connect it to the mod it doesn't prompt me asking if it's a new coil. I love this mod but it's getting annoying the only fix I have managed to find is connecting a different tank which then prompts me with the new coil then I have to re attach my smok tank which then prompts me for the new coil. Is anyone else having this problem if so have you found a fix?

That sounds like a solution right there! =) Every mod has its idiosyncrasies. Also keep in mind that if you change one v8-t8 coil to another, the resistance difference is nominal - sometimes it is even the same exact resistance. Maybe the chip is set up to ask only when there is a substantial difference between two heads.
I never thought about it being the same resistance only had this mod just over a month and still finding out new things about it. Thank you for your response it has been very helpful
