Aspire Cleito: poor taste and quality? A coil problem?

Hi all,

I switched from a Kangar Subbox to the Aspire Cleito, which was supposed to be 'amazing'. Since I've gotten I've dropped from 12mg juice on the Kangar, to 6mg because I'm now using .2 coils instead of the .5.

However, it's been a terrible experience for me.

Poor taste. Burning, coughing at times. Sore throat. Etc. Etc.

I brought it to my local vape shop, and we went through several coils, and the owner primed it for me- we waited 30 minutes, tried multiple juices. We'd have some success, but then later it would start to get weird.

He theorized maybe Aspire's coils aren't up to par.


Does anyone have a similar experience or advice?


I'm close to just buying a new tank today.

From what I've found on the internet, some people are pointing to quality control issues with Aspire in general, and an issue with their cotton.

Of the two coils that came with mine I absolutely love the .4 ohm coil but hate the .2 ohm coil. The .2ohm coils seems harsh. I dont know what it is about that coil but I hate it. The .4 for me was great absolutely loved it. Nice easy vape As soon as I get my pack of .4 coils in I will be ditching this .2 just wished I had ordered the replacements sooner. I had ran 120+mls through the .4 and it was running like a champ still nice clean coil. I wasnt paying attention and had accidentally managed to turn my mod up to 200 watts and fried it :/

I have my aromamizer at around .2ohms and dont have any issues so its something with the aspire coil itself.

I was running it at 40 watts and the .2 I have bounced between 55-60 watts
