So I am new to vaping. I am not a huge vaper who will throw a ton of money, time and effort into vaping but I do enjoy it every once in a while. So that being said I recently purchased the new Plato Aspire in blue. I bought it for two reasons, the awesome compact size with the hidden tank and the price was pretty cheap. However, I am starting to have some problems with it.
Problem 1: Kanthal 1.8 ohm aspire replacement coils burn out in like a day. I am not turning it up over 13 watts and the things just burns out. I have also never let the juice get below the juice intake or cotton part. I would say I only get one tank out of a coil. I went through and entire pack of 5 of these coils and they just burn like mofos. An average of a tank and a half across all five coils. They say they should last 2 weeks at something like 200 puffs a day or some shit. Not getting even close to that. I prefer these coils to the 4 sub ohm coils. Are they just super cheap coils? Are the Triton ones any better? They are a little pricier.
Problem 2: The Plato coil the sub ohm coil splashes A LOT. I smoke that and sometimes it feels like the inside of mouth is coated with E-juice, it is nasty. I also clean my tanks and entire set up when I change the coil. I have no idea why it just splashes and spits SOOOO much.
Any suggestions for any of these problems? Again, I am not a huge vaper and I am not going to buy another mod. I am just playing around with this one for the time being. It is just irritating I am not getting the best performance out of it like I read in some other reviews. It is a great vape I am just finding trouble in the coils. Any advise at all would be appreciated. I am a nooby with this stuff.
