So I sold a Brand New Authentic Kayfun Monster V2 on ebay. Buyer made claims it wasn't authentic. Telling me she had a shop compare it when an authentic and asks for a return. I explain to her its absolutely authentic, but I still let her return it. The lo-and-behold comes back and she send me back a fucken clone.
I don't want to be filled with negative energy, but people are such assholes these days. Anyways I hope Karma gets her bad. It was an absolute steal for brand new authentic v2 at the price I had it, and yes it ends up getting stolen by a nasty ass bitch. :(:(

That's lame shit...I had a guy buy a fixed-battery mod off me once, I already agreed to take a pretty steep discount as it was my last one (I had 5 and sold the other 4 for quite a bit more - bought them to PIF to friends/family but found them too damned huge once they showed up). Guy gets it and tells me he's using it, the battery isn't lasting as long as he thinks it should, and that he wants me to send him a partial refund. I go check out his account and he's got the same damned mod up for sale for $5 more than he paid me (plus charging a redonkulous $20 shipping fee) and is claiming it's new-in-box.

I pointed that out to him when he threatened a PayPal dispute and it turns out no charges against me were ever filed, but the whole experience soured me on eBay, which I rarely use.

In your case, is there any way to file some sort of complaint regarding the bunk gear you got in return, or do you just have to bite the bullet? What about outing the scammer?

Im guessing the OP just wanted to be heard so I am withdrawing my offer, edited this post so no one will get ideas about contacting me for their own reasons. I do not condone nor advertise in doxxing or shaming people, this was not my intention nor my offer....just wanted to make that clear.

I'm just gonna step in here and say that while I certainly support the outing of anyone who's been known to do wrong by the vaping community, let's stop short of using VU as a place of publicly calling for a doxxing or other actions that could end up in real-life harm to the accused. That said, may she rot in hell and be forced to keester a pineapple.

I never said I was going to dox the scammer but simply make it so he/she would be monitored and stopped if anything seemed manipulative or malicious, Im not one for publicly endangering people and I dont recall anyone on the forum doxxing anyone since Ive been here....I simply said I would help stop the scammer from scamming anyone in the future, exploiting details could do no such things and just creates problems for both sides. I understand what you mean though, I guess this form of action may be overboard but sometimes its all that can be done. Just wanted to help a fellow vaper in any form I can.

I cannot imagine why the OP wouldn't have withheld the buyer's refund until he'd received back, from the buyer, what he'd sent, and verified its condition.

Sorry for late reply, but yes she sent me back a clone. Apparently it isn't the first time she's done something like this to an ebay seller (but with knives...for a fucken sleeve.) Apparently I can't dispute this to ebay since the item is an ecig product. I'm all over it and hopefully karma will soon find this bytch.

Here are the pic comparisons. It's basically the base of the atomizer. The engraving on the clone are just horrid, and the base on the clone have straight cut edges, shit wasn't even a polished thoroughly.

Yeah, I definitely know she will. But everyone watch out for christianoenrique if you're an ebay seller. I should of just posted the item here on VU to sell first =(.
I was told not to shame the seller publicly here as many here have had some issues and dealing with shaming and problems afterwards, just a heads up....Its good to see who it was though ;)

Not sure where you got that impression - all good with putting a name out there...

Okay, I must of read wrong but I thought we didnt want that type of info out there. I didnt want him to post something that would lead him to trouble but if theres no foul then all is good. Personal details are the no go then...correct?

Name-and-shame, sure - so long as you've got the goods to back up your claims, which @DaBuddhaVapes appears to...posting home or work addresses, phone numbers, family info, etc. that could unleash "let's lynch this motherfucker!" potential is where to draw the line. I want to see a screen name of a dirtbag so I can remember it or search it out before conducting a transaction if I'm wary of trouble, I don't want to see anyone associated with the forum potentially implicated in carrying out vigilante justice (while perhaps the best kind of justice, it's still illegal)...

Said con artist appears to have 100% rating on eBay.
Lol. yep, but it's mostly because sellers automatically leave a positive feedback once people pay and you can't change that feedback ever. You can only add a follow up comment. There's another seller that left one though.

I never leave a feedback until a transaction is 100%. It pays to remain vigilant at all times.
