James Cameron, who's currently at work on Avatar 2, 3, 4 and 5, has revealed who will serve as the main villain across all four of the upcoming Avatar sequels.
In the September issue of Empire, Cameron confirmed that Colonel Quartich (Stephen Lang) will indeed return to serve as the primary antagonist in each film, right up through Avatar 5.
Quartich caused quite a bit of trouble for Jake and the Na'vi in the first Avatar film, and that dynamic will carry over into the next four movies. "The interesting conceit of the Avatar sequels is it's pretty much the same characters," Cameron explained.
