OK, I started off with the starter kit from a company we all know. I won't name the name, not sure if it's against forum rules. So .... On top of that I got 2 extra half liter bottles. Totaling 1500 ml of VG, 500 of PG, and I think it was 500 ml of 48mg/ml VG based nicotine
I screwed up a lot mixing small 15 ml batches to start lol ....
OMG the pink lemonade at 10 percent was overwhelming. Completely ruined a coil it was so strong. I did like the taste however so I might try at 4-5 percent on a RBA sometime.
That being said I am playing with it and having fun, more fun then building these PITA coils. U self. Anyone else have so many problems learning to build coils ? Haha
So, I've got one flavor down though ... 75/25 VG to PG straw nana with 8 percent strawberry and 4 percent banana. It's not as good as the local vape shape. But I know over time I can get it there.
The one question I have that confuses me, is you order online from most vendors you have to let it steep, right ? Like MBV etc ...
Why is it when you go to the local vape shape you don't ? I'm more interested in this then anything. I've read about something that looks like a blender that reduced steep times to a couple hours but two, problems. First one is they say don't do it unless you are doing 100 mg or more. Second is the local vape shape have it for you in 3 minutes.
The other thing I notice is when I order from MBV or do it. U self, even after I let BOTH of the two mentioned before hand steep for three weeks I still see what I would explain as air bubbles in my juice. Not nearly as bad as they are in the beginning but still there. I don't see that from the vape shop. The flavor a from the vape shop are also better.
I even let one juice from MBV steep for 3 months. 80/20 VG to,pg and the bubbles were horoscopes. Although that was an extra flavor sot.
Few questions
1) air bubbles obviously mean it isn't mixed entirely, so what do I do about that ?
2) are the air bubbles VG/pg/ or nicotine. I saw the same air bubbles in a batch of 50 /50 MBV juice that they refunded me on after I steeped it for 8 weeks in the dark and they were still there.
3) I've spent $400 on supplies so far. Will spend more BUT I don't want to measure by weight etc. I want to do small batches of 30/50/100 until I get the hang of it. I just did my biggest batch an hour ago of 100ml. 75vg 25pg ... Straw nana ... It's not perfect, still has air bubbles even after proper steeping but it's gap able.
I can't help think if I could figure this out I'd be on my way to a better DIY juice
