So last week I broke out the old Innokin I taste 134 and cleaned him up. That was the last device I used until I picked up smoking again years back until now that I've been vaping again the last 4 months or so. I ordered this new aspire ego bvc to go on it. Back then I was in extreme alcoholism and my Nic mg was 24. Now that I'm in recovery and sober and have been for over a year now I vape only and sub-ohm everything. I make my own juice at 70vg 30pg and use 4 mg on my nic. I wanted to break this thing out 1) because I like the romance of using old things, and 2) I wanted a device with a higher nicotine juice for that punch when I want it. So my question is what vg/pg is best with the ego bvc. Curious about what I should go on my nic level as well. I was thinking maybe 20mg now since I'm sober and when your drinking all the time nicotine highness didn't seem to be a factor at all. Also what was your thoughts of this device if you had one of these hand cannons way back when?

I was thinking though that since I won't be sub ohming I won't be getting the vapor production and will be less nicotine intake with this thing.

Well, as everyone is different in their nicotine satisfaction level, try what you have.

If you like it, keep it there. If it's not enough, inch it up until you are happy with it

Have you thought about Nic salts? I vape 3mg freebase in all my subohm devices, and 18-25mg salts in my mtl devices. Personally I've never been able to do more than 12mg with freebase, just too harsh.

That's something I haven't thought about at all. Nic salts might be where I need to head with this thing. I was just thinking that if I made a high mg regular nic juice it would be like the older juices that I use to use at high mg. Thanks for that input.

I've noticed that I can move pretty freely through different levels of Nic salts without it getting too harsh. Regular freebase nic is a different story, even six makes me feel nauseous and I get a headache now that I'm used to three. Not to mention the throat hit. I've been considering just moving down to zero in my subohm devices, and just get my nicotine from salts in my mtl devices.

Okay so I did a little experimenting and took Water Malone I had mixed at 70/30 4mg. Reformulated the recipe for 15ml at18mg nic. Added all the grams together except for the nic and filled bottle with that amount of my premade. Then added the suggested grams of nic (which I used 50/50 nic to thin it all out a little). Should be about 22mg strength. Works like a charm. Throat hit but not terrible. Brings back memories but hard to believe how restrictive everything use to be. Got that quick head rush after a couple long draws. Crazy how things have changed. Probably not gonna use it a lot but did order some Nic salts and will use a higher pg mix and try a couple different recipes. So I've put the 134 away for today and got a squonker back out, lol.
