You all have me believing I can do this, gonna mix my own. In my other thread here in DIY, I'm trying to lose the nasty buttery flavor so many e-liquids have.

I'm working with the eJuice Me Up calculator; I have a source for unflavored e-liquid base, working with 50PG/50VG, 100mg nic. So I gather I'll also need some VG and PG. I want to mix up unflavored batches in different PG/VG, shooting for majority PG as the target (throat hits:)).

So I enter the stuff into the calculator, here's what I don't get. So much nicotine ejuice, VG and PG. But also computed is a given amount of "Flavor 1". Now on the left, under Flavor 1, I have "Flavor Zero" checked. Where does the volume on the right come from under Flavor 1? It's 6ml for a 30ml batch, huh?

What am I missing?

You can enter 0 for all flavorings if you just want a plain PG/VG w/NIC mix.

Don't forget to enter your desired NIC % and final PG/VG ratio.

BTW I cut my 100mg NIC to 50mg to be safer for handling/mixing.

I you have a 60ml bottle of 50/50 100mg base, dump it into a 120ml bottle.
Then add 30ml of each (PG and VG), shake well.
Now you've got 120ml of 50NIC base to work with.

Exactly.....unless you're using any vg based flavoring, the percentage of your pg based flavors is 100%.

You're in an unusual position--and lucky, in a way: most people seem to want buttery and that's where all the risky chemicals are--in the buttery flavors!

I'm curious about your handle. Are you the new Nietzsche?

LOL, no :D

I've used it since 1998, based on a cat we had. Others have also thought it was based on Nietzsche, implying a lot more gravitas than yours truly carries. :) I've thought about not using Newtsche for just that reason but Newt was my best buddy ever and he lives on a little.

As for the buttery, I'd still be on the cigs if all juice tasted that way.
It certainly limits what works for me, that's for sure.

I feel ya I can not stand any juice made with any flavoring that has even the tiniest bit of acetyl pyrazine:confused: and yes it is tough to make any desert/bakery/and even a lot of tobacco mixes. I wish you the best of luck.:D
