The long-gestating Bad Boys 3 has received a name change and has been pushed back six months, reports Deadline. The newly titled Bad Boys for Life was set to debut on June 2, 2017 but will instead arrive on January 12, 2018.
According to Deadline the studio is yet to settle on a production start date, meaning the film would not be ready for release during the 2017 US summer.
After years of speculation Sony officially confirmed that third and fourth instalments in the dormant Bad Boy series were in the works back in August 2015. At the time Bad Boys III was set to be released in February 2017 and Bad Boys IV would arrive in July 2019. Earlier this year the third film was pushed to June 2, 2017.
