Baking or cooking with FA extracts

The other day I was mixing The Golden oreo recipe and my wife walked by my "mixing" table. While she thinks that most of the juices I mix are too pungent, she asked me if any of the extracts I'm using can be used for cooking instead of juices. My answer was: Huh?....aaa... Don't know, dear. I'll ask and get back to you.
So what is the answer? I use mostly FA extracts and they are PG based.

The flavorings we use were created for food use. I've used mine in coffee and ice cream, lol.

Oh hell yeah.

The only thing about using them for food... depending on what you're making, you could end up using a lot. I've seen candy recipes online that call for tablespoons of flavor.

That would make UBER Candy! that is , unless you're making a huge quantity. I figured, we use 2-3 ml per 100 ml total volume of juice, one tablespoon is roughly 18 ml so you'd be making 600-800 ml total volume! That's way too much for me at one time, unless I bottle it up, get a little table and sell it at the street corner:(

I can see it getting pricey.

Depending on what you have....think...
pancakes
waffles
crepes
muffins.

I use saffron & white truffle FA Flavors in risotto.

They also work well in beverages ... I sometimes add a little Vanilla to soda just as an example.

But beware, if you give too much information to the wifey, you may soon find your flavoring stash reduced considerably! :D

How does that risotto vape?;):D

Even if overcooked, I must admit it's tough on my bottom feeding REO and don't even ask about how often I need to re wick.

Unless you like being chased by packs of those dogs trained to hunt truffles, you really have to keep your eyes open vaping it outdoors!

So how much fa vanilla you use in normal size cup of coffee? And which one is better?

My personal fave vanilla is the Vanilla Classic, but I can see the Vanilla Bourbon being good in coffee. Maybe try 6 drops, see how that goes. You could always add more.

It's a preference thing JB but I think the recommendation from Huck is spot on ...but really, who knows what size is normal for a cup of coffee these days anyway? :D

A couple years ago I ran out of my normal vanilla extract I use in the kitchen. FA vanilla Tahiti to the rescue. Works well in cooked pudding recipes for sure. I used about a teaspoon.

I like to add fruit flavours to pancake mix and the family loves it.

Also tried various dessert flavours in milkshakes/smoothies.

Not quite "cooking" but I've added strawberry concentrates into my milk teas and they taste delicious!!
