I had to google the Balrog but personally out of those two I vote the Pico because if does stainless in tc. The Balrog only listed ni200 and ti for tc.
If your only doing power it doesn't much matter. For TC mode the Balrog is limited and outdated tech.
Also the Melo 3 mini tank uses the Atlantis style coils and there are many to choose from.

loved lord of the rings that def was one thing wuich was pushing 2wards the balrogthe Balrog has a new version which does SS and has TCR.....so in options they don't differ very much...I'd choose the Balrog...just for the name alone

PICO...I had the Balrog and the tank is definitely a mouth inhale low air flow. Pico is lung hits.
I'm a lung hit guy so that def is gna push me to the pico I'm just w8ng till Friday to get paid so I can order one is my vapor store any good cuz they had a solid price on it
If you're looking for something as small as possible the Pico's doing a damn fine job of it, I've only had it 2 days though but just not finding anything wrong with it. I was surprised that it weighs almost nothing without the battery in it, and with it I'm pretty sure it's lighter than the Mini Volt it was replacing. It's even smaller than my Noisy Cricket if that gives an idea which was another thing that surprised me (I was thinking it'd match the size).
Got it from http://www.rockymountainvapor.com/ with the coupon code 'president' came out to 29.95 shipped for just the mod. One thing is you get it in the box for the full set as the vendor is removing the tank to be able to sell just the mods first (just the mod hasn't released yet I don't think). So with that it means an opened package as well, but I had no issues.
Just got my pico from Rocky Mountain vapors also. I ordered just the mod. It's a pretty sweet little mod, but today will be the first day that I've carried it, so we'll see how it does. So far I'm really liking it with my cleito tank on there.

Probably all Balrogs that are being sold now are the new version. I'm not sure which stores stock them, I would drop a mail to your intended shop to verify it's the new version if you are still considering the Balrog.
One drawback compared to the Pico: it has no firmware updates (afaik).
DL or MTL has nothing to do with which mod you choose, that's all about the tank. If you buy a whole kit (the Balrog with Rosary tank vs the Pico and the Melo III) then yes the Rosary tank is more MTL and the Melo is more DL.

I don't plan on getting the Full Kits(Or the Mod at all) Iv never even bought a Tank/Mod Combo as I like to choose. Really just browsing info on new mods, I have a few Joyetech/Eleaf mods so im very familiar with those boards. Just interested
in other mods/boards.

Just saw the UD Balrog today and it isnt a pretty thing. It's also almost as big as my eVic Mini which prevented me from buying it.
I'd go with the Pico any day.

I just told them what was wrong and what I tried to fix it, and they didn't BS me at all.
Ha I just I ordered two Pico's today. One just the mod for me and the full kit for my son. This should be his gate way device to kicking the stinky's...I wish I would have had such a fine set up when I quit cigs....I quit with an Ego One...
