Banana Bread Flavoring help

So most of the threads i seem to dig up on this suggest using TFA Banana Nut Bread, which regardless of my many attempts/%'s/variations at using it....i've always found to be both too weak and fairly chemical tasting.

Banana flavoring in general has always been a big miss for me at that. Didn't like any of TFA offerings, FW, or Capella. Lorann banana creme is pretty much the only one i've come across that didn't come across more then half bad, although my attempts to "bread" it never really worked out.

On the other hand i have tasted various vendor versions which i found myself enjoying. Just looking for any suggestions to possible point me in the right direction.

If you want to banana it up, have you tried FA Banana? Adding a touch of FA Cookie (0.5% - 1%) to it, or a TINY bit of AP (0.25% - 0.5%) might help "bread it" up a tad. You can add nuts, a different fruit, even a cream to it. Could be tasty.

No, i've yet to try FA. Thanks, i'll give it a try. What %'s do you generally use FA banana?

Amanda, I gave the MamaJ's a look the other night when i made an order from Bullcity but it was out of stock. Although $5 for 5ml struck me as kinda expensive for something they recommended at a 13% mix. Maybe i'll give it a try next time.

MamaJ's is a good call, really. I know I read in a different thread he's re-stocked or re-stocking. His stuff is awesome!

As far as Banana goes, some do well with 3%, some go as high as 5.
