Battery drop need help

Can I still use my battery ? There is no dent in the center part .

ah none of my batts have a dent in the center part either

With batteries, I always say, "when in doubt, throw it out" not worth it if something malfunctions.

ok if you two say so ?? as i can't see it

I have one VT4 that the top is somewhat smashed in,i can feel it with my finger and i am still good with it as it is no near to touch the metal under neath

dropped my mec once and the re-coil from the spring ooooooooops'd the top cap

If the can is dented and it's not just damage to the wrap, recycle it.

Looks like a Samsung 26F, an ICR. I wouldn't take any chances with that chemistry of cell. Ditch it and replace with a safer chemistry IMR or INR. You may not need the current handling ability, but the extra safety they offer is still worthwhile.

Check out the Samsung 30Q. It's a 15A cell at 3000mAh, so safer, higher drain and more capacity.
