Battery help

Ok, a friend of mine recently got into vaping and picked up a subox. He bought 2nd hand but still new. The guy also gave him a few batteries for it. I have no information about them and have been looking for an hour or so. I figured I'd ask here. I told him to hold off on using them for now.

On the battery it says lgdb218650, and the batteries are orange. Does anyone know anything about them can they be used to vape? What are the limits of it? Ect.

The only orange batteries I know of are mnke. If they are, they are good enough for that mod, but if there is no identifying marks I wouldn't trust them.
I wouldn't use the other one.... It's an icr, he should be using a high drain imr.

They aren't from mnke, they all say lg on them. The guy said he got them from a laptop so its a no go, I'm glad my friend listened and held off on them.

They are probably all icr's.
I have a couple Samsung icr's still in rotation, but I make sure to keep them under a 5 amp load. If your friend doesn't have the build experience to do that, it's much better he just doesn't use them and gets a couple high drain imr's with a 25 amp constant drain rating

Yeah he's new to building. When the guy told him they were from a laptop I figured they were icrs he has some 25rs on the way now thanks for your help
