So, It's been a while since I've been on the Forum so sorry if this info has already been posted but after spending a few minutes searching I figured I might find old info before I found the info I was looking for. So I decided to just ask.

I found myself grabbing the same setup each time, my Noisy Cricket with the 22mm Avocado, I bought plenty of things afterwards and I'm sure there are great things on the market still but when you have something that satisfies you best after a dozen additional purchases you have to ask yourself if it's worth continuing looking.

But, I'm now running into the end of the lifespan on my batteries. Time to buy some new ones, but before I do like any responsible person I figured I'd do a little research to get the best bang and if it's for my buck too that's even better.

I've been grabbing my old HB series batteries lately, the newer (but still need replacing) 25rs while lasting longer at an acceptable level don't maintain a good level as long. So from what I remember I'd probably be looking for the HD2C's which were new but tested well back when I stopped keeping up with everything. My old VTC4s were great but again I remember those being written off a bit both by Sony's remarks against using them for vaping and that the HD2C's were in general as good if not better.

So my question is, should I just grab those or is there something better in that middle range of battery life but solid discharge?

25r are my new favorite battery.

Yes they are fantastic, but they lack the kick for mechs. Best way to explain is that after a few puffs and the fresh charge drops 25rs plateau at a lower level than something like the HB series I have. I don't have to toss them in the charger as often but I get a less enjoyable vape after the first few puffs. So what I'm looking for is something like my old VTC4s that were just right in the middle of those two and nice.

VTC5A looks good. And, thanks for the chart. I was curious on what people are using and liking but I may just pull the trigger on a few VTC5A

I vape on mechs exclusively... 25rs can handle lower builds than hb series can.
The hb series will handle higher amperage in a continuous discharge but 25r can handle my builds better than the hbs can.
I'm talking well below any rates mooch tests at, so not really recommended. But they can handle some shit.
