Belkin has released a new way to keep your Switch 2 charged: the Charging Grip for Nintendo Switch 2. The grip, which is a little like a Dbrand Killswitch case but with a 10,000mAh battery pack that snaps onto the back and plugs into the Switch 2's top USB-C port, costs $100 and is available now on Dbrand's website.

Belkin's new Charging Grip comes in four pieces. There are two molded, textured grips that hug the Switch 2's Joy-Con 2 controllers, a plastic shell that snaps around the top and bottom of the Switch 2's body while leaving space for the console's various vents, ports, and kickstand. Then, there's the battery itself, which magnetizes to the back of the case and has a small USB-C cable tucked into it, that you can fold out when you need to charge your Switch 2. The battery features a small display for charging percentage, a button to turn the display on, and a USB-C port for recharging it.

Belkin says the battery will charge the Switch 2 "up to 1.5 times" before it's exhausted. The company says the same of the Switch 2 Charging Case that I reviewed last year and found to be an excellent Switch 2 accessory in my review last year, although it actually gave my Switch 2 nearly two full charges (a rare case of a company seemingly underselling, rather than overselling, a product's capability).

In addition to the new Charging Grip, Belkin has also released a $50 Travel Bag for Nintendo Switch 2, a sling-style bag that accomodates the Switch 2 – Charging Grip – in a padded compartment with a hook-and-loop strap to keep it in place, as well as a game card slot for up to 10 physical Switch and Switch 2 games, various pockets for other accessories, and enough space for you to carry a Switch 2 Pro Controller. The strap is adjustable, and the bag also features a handle on one end, if you'd rather heft it around that way.

Both products come in three colorways, black, lavender, and olive, all of which are available now on Belkin's website. For the cautious buyers out there: I'm in the middle of testing the Belkin Switch 2 Charging Grip, so look out for my review on IGN soon.
