Best 22g coil build

Hello everyone. I am new to this forum and somewhat new to Vaping. I've had an RDA for some time and have been using it on my mvp 2 with a 1.2 ohm coil build with 28 gauge. I ran out of the 28 so I figured I'd try something different. I talked to a guy at my mall and he gave me 22 and said it would work great. I picked up an Origin mod as I'm a beginner and built 2 6 wrap coils for my mod. I've got 35 amp high drain LiMn batteries and was just wondering what kind of build would be good because as of now my mod gets super hot after a few pulls. Thanks in advanced

I would stop using that setup asap. Post some pics and specs so those who know can steer you straight. Dont take chances, especially if things are getting hot. Sounds to me like your build is wrong or your batteries arent good enough for what your build is....pics n specs....

POST PICS OF EVERYTHING YOU HAVE, I my self subohm .1-.15 but I use regulated mods for this kind of built, when I was on mech mod I vape around .2-.3 just to be on the safe side, my mod gets warm but, but not super hot... I suggest you check ur batteries' everytime something gets really hot is not a good thing, u don't want that thing exploding in ur face!!
Post pics!! And how old are you?

You need an ohm tester as well if you're planning to rebuild. They're cheap, so get one now if you don't have one already.

We'll also need to know what size mandrel/screw driver/drill bit you're using to wrap your wire around, and whether you're building single or dual coil. Also, we need to know exactly what batteries they sold to you.

http://www.steam-engine.org will be your friend, as well.

@Haadkoe, since you brought up steam engine. Do you know what heat flux is? I was just using it (steam engine) , my build came out on point, and I was gonna start a thread asking. So why not here?

Can't really say that I completely understand it, but essentially the higher the number, the hotter the vape. I'm comfortably vaping as 49mW/mm2 at the moment.

On the Coil building page's bottom left corner, click on "How it works".

Make sure you got an ohms law calculator app to make sure you don't over do your batteries. They should never get hot

Is it the battery tube itself that gets hot or the atty ? if it's the atty then, they do get warm depending on your build but if the tube is hot then call the bomb squad. Authentic Clone BATTERY, put it in your flashlight and pray to the battery gods that it didn't explode in your face

Hey guys sorry for the late response. It was my battery. It was a fake. I went ahead and bought a new set up to be safe. I've got a Fuhattan Carbon Fiber and a Doge v2 all copper. I'm Vaping at. .4 ohms on a Aw IMR battery at 30 amp continuous. Thanks for the tips guys. Much appreciated
